Hotel Huntington - Hotel in Duarte - 1200 E Huntington Dr, USA

Loved the place, the front desk agents were super responsive to any issues and needs. They also had coffee and water in the lobby which was really nice. The shower had amazing pressure and lots of hot water. And the area was super walkable with lots of food and shops making it easier to settle in. Lastly my group loved the out door seating area, we were able to eat dinner there and relax after a long day at the renfaire. I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel is!

This hotel is in a good safe place and it’s very affordable. Don’t expect a five star squeaky clean room but it’s not dirty either. No bugs or anything like that. My only complaint is that the Asian lady at the front desk is rude. She gets mad that you don’t understand her because of her accent and gives you attitude. I understand having an accent but being rude straight away because of it isint okay. Overall a good hotel.

What a pleasant experience. If we're ever in the LA area again this hotel is by far a must for us to book. Everything was so close by. All the stores and restaurants. Service was great as well. We were very happy with our stay.

I was in room 112 on the ground level. When I entered the room, I noticed the laminate on parts of the flooring were peeling up. Other cosmetics issues were present - like parts of the tiling on the bathroom walls weren't grouted. Small upgrades and repairs could be managed to make the space look and feel much better. The shower pressure seemed pretty low, and there was a weird smell coming from the sink anytime the water was running. The bathroom has a motion detection light, which came on intermittently even when no one went inside the bathroom - this kept me up for a good portion of the night. I had to shut the bathroom door completely in order to keep from being disturbed with the light. Also, the bathroom towels were so tiny and thin, I'm not even sure they're meant for adults. The bed was alright to lay on, but the pillows were not comfortable at all. They were pretty flat and super basic/cheap. I will say that there was wifi and a working TV at least. Also, the ac worked just fine and kept me at a comfortable temp the whole night. I only stayed for one night, thankfully. I don't think I'd be comfortable staying in that room for any longer than that.

Positive: Clean, as others have said. Negative: This was not a hotel. It was a motel. There were different types of decor. Ours was super cheesy with velvety backboard and matching velvet dresser table. There was technically nothing wrong with the room, but I wouldn?t stay there again.

Positive: The location was great for the track event we were there for. The room was spacious. It worked for our needs. Close to restaurants and shops. Negative: The bathroom has 2 sinks and a large mirror with lots of space. Hooks for towels would be helpful. A mirror in the room would be a nice addition. The drapes didn't fully close. Everybody that worked here was very friendly. The art on the outside walls was a nice touch. The room was spacious, the bathroom was large and spacious. I was very happy with the one night we stayed here.

As soon as we walked in to our room it smelled musty, the bed sheets had wholes in them, not to mention they did not smell or look clean. The sheets looked like they have not been changed in a while. The running sink water in the bathroom was coming out white!!! Ew! Super disgusting. This place is disgusting do not stay here! Very non hygienic place!
