We enjoyed our overnight stay we came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The concept for the hotel is pretty neat but I can understand all the remarks about the train and noise from the bar but we only heard the train once at 5:30 in the evening and it wasn't bad. We loved the private front patio that came with our room and the design/decor was great only downside was the rooms did not cool to the temp we set it to so it always felt warm which made it difficult to sleep comfortably through the night. The bed was soft and comfy though. I would love to come back in the fall so the patio could be utilized.

We choose this hotel because it is next to the Dr. Pepper Museum which we wanted to visit during our weekend stay. The hotel lobby, patio and the room we chose were absolutely beautiful and clean. The guest coordinator at the lobby I believe her name was Courtney was very attentive and accommodating of all of our needs. When we arrived the room was even more beautiful in person and exactly like the pictures. We stayed during the weekend of July 20th and due to the summer heat obviously the room can take a moment to get cool specially since the hotel is made of shipping containers. Something that helps make the room cooler faster was closing the blinds which is a must to survive the Texas heat. The elevator was not properly working going up but it did work coming down, however we didn’t mind taking the stairs to the roof top bar and to our room since we drove for 3 hours and we really needed to stretch our legs. During the night we were suddenly awaken by a train passing, it lasted about 2 to 3 minutes so even when we were a bit startled we went right back to sleep. I hope they fix the issue with the elevator but other than that it was a lovely stay and highly recommend visiting their restaurant. You can tell that the area is growing and it has tons of potential.

Very satisfied overall with the stay. Really trendy and innovative design, well located in Waco, and very clean. Our room has a cute little view of the Magnolia Silos, which was a large reason for booking on the area I did. There were a few oddities for a hotel aiming for the level and price they are going for, but it's clear they are still finding their grove as a newly opened hotel. For example the water bottles they provide, really nice glass to match the quality they want and pair with the water bar, but provided unwashed with the paper saying they need washed in them making them useless on arrival. The rooms themselves were really nice and well designed, I feel bad that the painters missed the mark just a little for such otherwise quality work. The biggest issue with the rooms is that the door doesn't block sound at all. A non issue for early on with very few guests, but you can clearly hear what's going on in the hall way. I suspect the welcome drinks will improve (or hope) because a 2 ounce pour of some wine in a plastic cup doesn't match the vibe, and ultimately I booked a king but was given a queen, which didn't really matter to me personally.

It is a unique hotel and more romantic than most. The a/c unit is a wall unit and it was warm all night. This was in the summer. It's right next to the train and that is super loud coming thru. The elevator was out and that was not made known until we arrived. They easily accommodated us, however. It's clean and a unique stay, but wouldn't return because of the air conditioner.

Enjoyed my recent one nite visit. Sure, the hotel is interesting in minimizing cooling/ heating “non-rev sq ftge” yet it works and flows for the visitor - after a bit. Check- in was tops. Room was nice. Key point— i purchased a non- refundable night and later figured out my timing error ( should have booked 1 nite later). Graciously, the reservation was honored for my intended night. Very nice touch. Room was nice . Only quibble is i never solved turning on the main lighting fixture. Likely ‘driver error’. Will return in future.

I didnt stay here, but i ate at the restaurant. I would definitely recommend! The food was delicious and reasonably priced! Its a twist of Mediterranean food. So much flavor! One thing, these are meant to be sharable dishes, so keep that in mind. The fried califlower was delicious, the chicken skewers were yummy. I loved the bolognese. The deserts were delicious as well. From my understanding, the food menu stays the same, but the dessert menu does change. Oh and the building inside is beautiful! There is valet parking :)

Stayed at the Herringbone recently while on a weekend trip for a concert. Considering the price (over $300 for one night) the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. At first glance, the grounds and rooms are beautiful. But after spending the night, we found a lot that needs to be improved on for the price and the title of a luxury hotel. The rooms are decorated beautifully with lovely ambient (not harsh) lighting. However, when I was attempting to get ready for the evening and do my makeup, the lighting in the bathroom was so dim I could hardly see what I was doing. The addition of a lighted mirror or some other lighting would be a huge asset. There are beautiful windows in the room, taking up one whole side of it. However, if you want to open the blinds to get some natural light, you are left in full view of anyone who happens to walk by. Some sheer curtains would be a welcome addition. It took us a long time to find a trash can, and when we did, the only one in the room was tiny and next to the toilet. Two drink cans and it was almost full. Why not have another somewhere else in the room? There is a nice tv, unfortunately the cable and the streaming services wouldn’t work. We didn’t care much since we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room, but for a luxury hotel, it was a letdown. We were on the 3rd floor, directly underneath the rooftop bar. I guess there is no soundproofing, because for the hour and a half we spent getting ready for our night out, we could hear chairs and tables being dragged across the floor non stop while people were moving around up there. Speaking of sound, there was a musician playing in the courtyard in the afternoon, which was very nice. I could also hear him clearly, as in make out the words he was singing, while in our room with the door closed. This wasn’t a big deal since it was Saturday at 4pm. What was a big deal however, was the next morning at 5:15am, when music began being played throughout the common area speakers, loud enough that it woke me up. Why have music playing at 5am?! After we got back from our night out at around 11pm, we came back to the hotel to go up to the bar. The elevator was out of service, which ended up not being a bad thing because there was a smell in there that was absolutely horrific, and just kept getting worse in the 15 or so hours we were there. I couldn’t help but wonder what would have happened if someone staying there was differently abled and required an elevator to get to their room. There was no mention on the sign of another elevator, just that this one was out of service. We took the stairs to the rooftop, but it was very difficult to find exactly where to go. Some other people who arrived at the same time as us also said the same thing. Unfortunately it was hard to find a table to sit at up there, not because it was so busy, but because almost every table was dirty, covered with glasses and bottles. The hotel website boasts a complimentary cocktail hour for guests, and unfortunately we weren’t told where this was held at check in and we weren’t able to find it. We didn’t have a lot of time, so if we had been told it would have made things easier. The open concept shower was nice, but if you were in a situation where you wanted some privacy, that isn’t an option. Just bear this in mind depending on who you’re sharing a room with! The website also mentions on site parking, but at check in we were told to park on the street. We were lucky to get the last spot in the lot next door, but bear in mind you may be driving around trying to find parking if you arrive at a busy time. I understand that the hotel has only been open for a couple months and there will be kinks that need working out, however, at almost $400 per night, this is just too many things for me to overlook. I should also mention that I left this same review on the link that the hotel texted me the day after our stay, and received no response. As it stands, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel nor would I stay here again.
