We had a great weekend staying at Hotel Goodwin! The hotel is theme with a 1920’s theme with a modern flare. We enjoyed drinks and shot up on the rooftop. The rooftop offers seating inside and outside with views over looking the area. Honestly I would not expect to find a great place like this in Beloit. We enjoyed drinks in our room from the stocked mini bar. I’ve never stayed at a place that had a record player in the room! I mean how cool is that. Yes we played records and dance. This place deserves a 5 star review and we will definitely stay again.
My husband and I booked a last minute room for sweetest day!! Wow! What a swanky place! The art was amazing…the vibe was chill. The room was immaculate and the shower?? Omg! Service was top notch. Thank you for an excellent even that we will cherish forever!
Me and my husband have stayed at this hotel numerous times and I highly recommend. It’s close to home and so we take advantage of that and book little getaways and this hotel never disappoints, the service, the rooms, the restaurant on the first floor, it’s all perfect. We’ve even booked the room for a few of our friends that have celebrated weddings and anniversaries and they’ve all left so impressed with the hotel. I will never not recommend this hotel.
There is a great front desk host name Johnathan. If you get the opportunity to have him as your front desk agent you're in good hands. Johnathan is extremely well versed in things to do in the Beloit area. When you talk to Johnathan you could see how passionate he is about hospitality. One of the best hotel people I have come across.
We stayed at the Hotel Goodwin the weekend of our wedding which was in the area and had a wonderful time. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet, and Kelsey was so helpful in reserving a hotel block for our guests there and arranging a late checkout for us the day after our wedding. The Rooftop bar is also an excellent space and so great to have right there. Many of our guests told us how nice they thought the hotel was and how convenient it was to be right downtown. We would definitely stay at the Hotel Goodwin again.
I was there photographing a bridal shower for a dear friend. Spent my time in the Velvet Buffalo lounge. It's beautiful there, the staff was right on top of things the entire day. Great place for an event! I highly recommend!
We loved this hotel! The rooms are super cute. There’s a record player in each room, it’s super close to downtown, there’s a roof top bar, a great Italian restaurant, and free breakfast! I love that you can park your car at the hotel and just walk downtown.
The best perk is you can get day passes to the Beloit Club— play a round of golf or lay by the club house pool! Both are amazing.
Highly recommend a stay!
I had a great stay. The bathroom has an open gap in my room where the privacy was kind of gone. Still room had a cool old school feel and was recommended by the hotel across the street.

YN is an awesome lil smoke shop that caters to everybody (including myself) and the employees have fantastic knowledge on their stuff, especially the disposable vapes and water pipes. I've had a chance to personally meet the family that owns the shop
Beautifully crafted, feels upscale without being stuffy. We went for an after dinner drink on our last night in Beloit. We stayed at Hotel Goodwin, had dinner at the Velvet Buffalo downstairs & decided to cap our night off at The Rooftop.

Beautiful Park. My 3 ¾ 8 year old grandchildren had a blast. We watched the ducks and geese on the water inlet. The girls loved the sandbox and the play area. Especially the 2 small streams of water. Bring a towel and their swimsuits!
