Hotel Del Sol - Hotel in Corona - 1084 Pomona Rd, USA

The staff was excellent, the rooms are updated and beautiful. Love the design they chose. The pool was crisp and clean, Jacuzzi was hot and bubbly. It's right off the freeway near a few markets and restaurants. We were here for a soccer tournament and the fact that it was right off the freeway was everything for us. Fridge, coffee maker and microwave helped out immensely. We had a Fri-Mon stay and enjoyed ourselves very much! Only downside was, their were a few sketchy individuals roaming the property. But honestly I feel like that's at every hotel now a days. 5 stars from me and we will be returning if needed in the future.

The people are loud upstairs, people are blasting music at one in the morning too. The hotel cards dont even work for the seven days, let alone get through three days (promised to work for an ENTIRE WEEK) but the worst of all, we had to get LICE KITS because we found bed bugs infesting my moms scalp shortly after coming here. DO NOT COME HERE if you enjoy healthy sleep and bed bug/lice free hair.

I greatly appreciate the friendly and seemingly understanding operators of the establishment. They really have positive vibrations. They have always been genuinely courteous, meaning not in a superficial sense. The rooms are petty nice. They have what you would expect for the price yet often not receive at many similar hotels. The price is not the best but understandable. It's really the pet fees and deposit that can deplete your funds. I forgot to retrieve my deposit upon checking out. Would have been nice to have been notified. Essentially,this a good place with good people. The exception is but one staff member. Might be maintenance or keeper or both. He is a bit of an arrogant jackass with a slight propensity for violence.

This is an okay place to stay. Appears that there are people that live here. The people upstairs were noisy! I felt safe in this area although it's off the beaten path. Room was very clean and somewhat comfortable. Did have some strange ways they rearrange the furniture in the little closet area was very strange! I would stay again if I needed a place in the area.

Last-minute great deal online. But then I got there and they wanted upgrade me to a "better" room for 30 then she went down to 20..ok so I did. I was there a bit early, sometimes bigger hotel chains will check you in early, at no cost. Not here they wanted another 30! I decided not to. Like you know most of my hotel stays are for ⚽. Room was nice cause I got the upgrade. I can't speak for the other rooms. It was about 10 to 15 minutes away from silverlakes sports complex which is what we were there for.

The location of this hotel was the only thing positive about our stay. This place had absolutely nothing else going for it. Checking in was a hassle because I was early (and they wanted an additional $40 to do so) so I waited. Then no one was manning the desk or answering the bell. We finally got a room, and it was not a pleasant experience. The sheets, chairs, etc. were so well-used that there was no way it could be clean. We ended up sleeping on top of the covers, fully dressed. There were roaches crawling up the wall and on the bathroom floor. The baseboards were coming away from the walls (one in the bathroom had about a 3/4" gap from the wall, was dirty and moldy. The walls had damage in several places. The outlets were so loosed that plugs from appliances wouldn't stay plugged in. The remotes for the TV were not clean (but it didn't matter much because neither one of them worked. When we returned to out room the second day, our keys did not work. Once again, I had to wait until someone showed up at the front office (about 10 minutes) to have the keys re-keyed. People were using grills in the parking lot, and a number of people obviously 'lived' here and were moving between several different rooms (it is possible that it was a large group of friends in different rooms, but one look into the rooms and you know that was not the case). One of the odd rules was " no one can have guests in their rooms after 10:00 pm". My guess is that it was an attempt to limit ************ and/or noise. Unfortunately, that rule was obviously not enforced. We ended up cutting our trip short and left the hotel that afternoon (no refund). And just as an additional note to anyone thinking of staying here, the parking lot is way too small for the number of 'guests' so you park across the street or in the red-marked fire zones (which means if anything happened, the interference to the fire truck would result in a greater loss of property and possibly lives).

Clean room, can tell it was updated recently. The lobby is nice and modern and was really clean. Only negative was my sheets had cigarette burn holes in them. Probably just throw them out at that point. UPDATE: Got out of bed this morning to find the sheets were stained in addition to having the cigarette holes. It’s simple to put out clean sheets or replace them.

These people are thieves. They allow migrants to barbecue outside your window so that smoke blows in through your air conditioner, Poisoning your air. This Went on for over 3 hours. I'm in a wheelchair and on oxygen and my health was compromised. This hotel held $170 of my money for no reason Because they put a hold on my card. For a Night that we did not stay there. This caused my card to hold The funds for 30 days. This is unacceptable. This place, of course, smelled like drugs when we arrived. And there was Disreputable activity going on all night in the parking lot. It's like a hangout for people that Obviously Do not work in the morning. There was no parking. The manager of the place is a liar. They do get your credit card Like some people said in the other 1 star reviews and they do try to charge you. Or they hold up your money. These people are thieves. They should be out of business. The 1 STARS on Yelp ARE CORRECT! THEY SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS!!!!
