Hotel Charlee Palm Villas - Beach Hotel - Hotel in Seaside Heights - 1211 Boulevard, USA

My family and I stay at this hotel for an overnight stay and I will say I was pleasantly suprised. The room was clean, we had ample amount of towels and a great view. I've travel to seaside height every summer and I know the hotels are not the best but I really enjoyed my stay here. We had an ocean view room and was able to see everything on the boardwalk. Special thank you to Jordan who answered my many questions and tried to accomodate all our requests. I now know where I will be staying every time I visit

My son stayed here for a weekend with his friends. Upon checkout, he was told he would receive the security deposit back shortly. He waited several days, no refund. He contacted the hotel and they said he would receive the money in a few days. Guess what, still no money! My son went to the bank because the hotel insisted they refunded the security deposit. The bank had no record of the transaction; they only had a record of the money that was withdrawn. I called the hotel on my son's behalf and I was met with a resistant, rude, and unprofessional staff member who alleged there was nothing he could do to rectify the situation. As I pressed him to make it right, he proceeded to hang up on me. We will be pursuing this legally, but parents especially beware! This hotel does allow 18 year olds to make reservations and from our experience, they are trying to take advantage!

Absolutely aweful!! The place was disgusting paint peeling the sheets were dirty!! Actually was afraid of bug bugs!!pool was gross!! This was the worst hotel I ever was at!! Changed hotels,carpet hasn’t been cleaned in ages!! No towels ,or toilet paper!! Never will I ever go back there!! So disappointed

We had a good experience this past week! Plenty of space for people to sleep. Beds were very comfortable. The staff was great and friendly! The rooms need some upgrading, Our bathroom had flys and the tub felt weird when you showered almost like you were going to fall through. I read some of the reviews and i think for the price and how close to the boardwalk you get what you get and move on!

Dirty doesn’t give it justice!!! I wouldn’t let my dog sleep in that filth. Board of Health should shut them down

For the price we paid for the night, it wasn’t the worst thing in the world, we got the room so we could just have a place to sleep after being out for the night and so we could attend a boardwalk event early in the morning. I will say, the man behind the desk and that I spoke to on the phone was very nice, he made the interaction easy and was very kind. The room was not the best, the bathroom seemed to be the most clean part and I was happy with that, but there were cigarette holes in the chair and a large rip in it, the carpet by the heater was a bit dirty, we didn’t have any towels, but for the amount of time we were staying, we didn’t have time or need to shower, so I wasn’t upset about that all that much. The blanket on the bed was thin, so I recommend bringing some with you if you stay. It was perfect walking distance from where we were trying to get to for the weekend, so that was a plus. There are some undergarments left in the parking lot, so I would just say maybe have the staff or cleaners just prepare the place better. I would have preferred no chair in the room and no appliances over the damaged ones, it would have atleast made the place more appealing to the eye if they were taken out and replaced. Other than that, for the purpose of the hotel, it did what it needed to do. Wasn’t the worst, wasn’t the best, again the man at the office and on the phone was very kind and personable so that is a huge win in my book, however, the images online not living up to the expectations let me down, I’m not against spending money to stay somewhere, so I think I’ll be putting out some extra for a nicer place next time and maybe even an Air BNB, if the hotel cleaned it’s appearance some, I wouldn’t mind going back.

Hotel was conveniently located two blocks from the boardwalk however there were quite a few issues with the room itself. Cleanliness wise the bathroom was very dirty, there was gum stuck all over the headboard. The comforter was paper thin so we freezing all night. The other bed didn’t even have a comforter on it but thankfully we had an extra blanket in the car we could use. The man at check in was very friendly but the office wasn’t open at certain hours of the day. No hand towels in the bathroom. No curtains so the second the sun was up at 5am we were all up as the sun was beaming through. You could not walk on the carpet barefoot as the carpet was wet and sticky and made a squishing sound when walking across it.

Do not stay here. It was terrible. The place was not clean and we had to call for towels and washcloths after we checked in. Clean towels arrived right away after we called for them and the guy who delivered them was extremely nice. However, we had a stopped-up sink and called for that to be fixed. We were told someone would come in 15 mins but no one ever came to fix this. We had to brush our teeth in the bathroom because of this. This place is dog friendly. The beds were comfortable but the room was not clean.
