Hotel Bardo: A Hidden Gem in Savannah I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Bardo in Savannah, Georgia, and I can confidently say it was one of the most incredible hotel experiences I've ever had. The staff was incredibly kind, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The hotel itself is a beautiful oasis, with a gorgeous pool area and plenty of amenities. Its location is ideal, with Forsyth Park just across the street and numerous dining options within walking distance. One of the highlights of my stay was the spa. The massages were absolutely amazing and left me feeling completely relaxed. If you're looking for a truly luxurious and unforgettable experience, I highly recommend Hotel Bardo.

Stayed at Hotel Bardo for a long weekend with some girlfriends and we had the best time! The hotel was stunning with tons of little touches that just made it even more unique. You can't beat the location either! The Farmer Market cooking class is a must and the 90 workout was pretty intense but fun. I loved that there were all these great offerings and activities to take part in during our stay. I've been to Savannah a million times and this trip was unlike any other because of Hotel Bardo. Can't wait to bring the husband back to check it out and the next girls trip when Recess opens!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Bardo in Savannah, and it was an experience I won’t forget. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm Southern hospitality that set the tone for my entire stay. The hotel itself is a perfect blend of modern luxury and historic charm, with beautifully designed rooms that are both comfortable and stylish. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was exceptional, providing excellent recommendations for local dining and attractions. The location of the hotel is also ideal, nestled in a quiet area yet just a short walk from all the vibrant sights and sounds of Savannah’s historic district. The amenities were top-notch, the pool was stunning and the lobby had a chic lounge area perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The attention to detail, from the decor to the service, made my stay truly special. The hotel restaurant had outstanding food, highly recommend the pasta dishes and the fish entree! Overall, Hotel Bardo exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you’re visiting Savannah for business or pleasure, I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay.

Amazing stay. The rooms and facility are great, however the staff is what makes it. Everyone is well trained to take care of the guest and they are amazing. From the bell hops that open the door every time you walk in or out to the bar staff. Everyone is always on point and super friendly. The Bardo is conveniently located just blocks from historical downtown. Would highly recommend.

The hotel is absolutely stunning, we came with a group of 25 girls and they accommodated our entire team. I would say it’s the most aesthetically pleasing hotel in Savannah, GA. The ambiance is unmatched. We had the best weekend, I honestly didn’t even want to leave the hotel. The staff is so kind and attentive. I would highly recommend staying here. My next step is to get on the waiting list to become a member!!

This is a magnificent hotel -the location is superb; within walking district of the historic sites of this wonderful former British colony and opposite a lovely park with a very fine café. This is a modern hotel but in an old building and it has been done very tastefully. The staff could not be more helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the swimming pool as well as the food. Lovely to come down in the morning for a cup of coffee and pastry. My only complaint, which is common in American. Hotels, is that they don’t know how to make tea. Tea must be made with boiling water and you can’t bring a flask of hot water and a teabag and expect a good cuppa. But that was a small detail in an otherwise superb stay. As far as I’m concerned this is a must stay hotel in Savannah. And I particularly loved Savannah which is a wonderful southern city.

The true litmus test of superb hospitality is the art of 'attention to detail'. In this way (and beyond), Hotel Bardo Savannah rose to the occasion during our recent visit. Our stay was punctuated by the "little things" standing out in a big way. A bottle of wine in our room + a welcome note from the GM, a dog bed and bowl for our pup, cookies and a turn-down for the kids, poolside attendants and staff who were thoughtful, smiley, and aimed to make our stay unforgettable. Bellhops and valet never missed a chance to open a door or greet us with a warm "hello", bartenders and front reception always curious to hear our story, servers and chefs checking on us...not once, not twice, but thrice! The hotel itself has a magnetic pull --- drawing you into the red-brick Victorian-Romanesque architecture, the refined elegance of the "green room" (my personal fave), and the sensual sanctuary of the pool. The room design left no stone unturned. Mood lighting, free-standing wardrobes, playful decor, and perhaps the best damn tandem shower around. If the question was, "Would you go back?" --- I'd respond by saying that I wish I'd never left. Kudos, Bardo!

We had a great stay at Hotel Bardo in Savannah. The staff is exceptional - they talked to us about our day and followed up with us after we were done exploring. They were always happy to help with anything we needed and they truly are the reason our stay was so special. The ONLY reason for giving 4 stars overall was the disappoint in the rooms. We booked a standard double and while we didn’t pay for an upgraded room and we’re not expecting the best view, we definitely weren’t expecting a view of the dumpster. We’ve stayed at other luxury properties and have always felt the rooms were positioned for every guest to have a somewhat decent view. This wasn’t the case here. Not only that, there were small cosmetic details like the toilet being installed crooked against the wall, gaps around outlet covers, etc. When it came to the rooms, it felt like any standard hotel with makeup on. Last thing - I would definitely not consider the outdoor pool to be heated - it was so cold when we were there in March. Again, stayed at places with a heated outdoor pool - this was not it. The pool area is gorgeous but there was a reason my kids were the only ones swimming. All that being said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again (with the right deal).

What a gem. This is a total find. The apartment is very large and has everything you need for a comfortable visit. We were two friends, so I used the sofa bed as an extra room. It worked very well - it’s big and comfortable and, if you ask, they’
