We recently stayed at the Hotel Avisa which was one short block from the ocean, shops and restaurants galore. Everyone was amazing from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out and everything in between. The price was perfect and far exceeded our expectations. They have a guest laundry room and gym which was great. I hope you give them a try and enjoy your trip as much as we did. 😊
This property is filthy, so don't let the reviews fool you. The owners don't care about their guests. When we arrived, the parking garage was filthy. When my daughter tried to shower, she found a pile of long black hair stuck to the shower wall. I called the following day to address the issues, and the front desk instructed me to send an email with a photo. I stopped at the front desk to ensure they received the picture. They assured me it would be taken care of, but nothing had been done when we returned five hours later. I expressed my frustration to the front desk and told them that their inaction speaks volumes about how they value their guests. This hotel doesn't have a good feel, and I would never return. There are cleaner and nicer hotels with better locations for a similar price. The floors and stairs are filthy and debris-filled. They dont have someone clean or vacuum the lobby or stairs a few times during the day
Hotel is perfectly located to shops and restaurants. Rooms clean and inviting. Quiet for the most part. Front desk people very helpful. Only thing missing for me was they no longer offer breakfast. That was one big reason we started staying here. Made it perfect. But still a wonderful place where you will not go worry choosing.
Had a nice 2 night stay. Along with the rest of the town, the hotel seemed very quiet. Our room was a decent size with a nice balcony (though the cold wind meant it was too cool to make use of it) which had clearly been refurbished in the not too distant past with new furniture etc. However there was plenty of evidence of the age of the room with disused screw holes in walls not filled etc. That was not an issue though with everything being clean and functional. Tea, coffee and cold water were always available in the lobby and we appreciated the self service laundry facilities too.
Excellent value hotel. I stayed here on my trip up to Monterrey. Modern design with sweeping views of the rock. Walking distance to boat dock, restaurants, and shops. Love the Beekman products. Excellent customer service. Will definitely stay again.
Just a quick mention of the room condition ( 310) I stayed in the other day ( June 18). I like the location of this hotel and the bonus of covered parking. Close to everything. The room was clean and very spacious. Now the bad! The bathroom fan assembly on a wall was falling down and there was no fan or operation of same. The smoke detector was completely missing from the ceiling and wires hanging in the box. This is a serious violation of code to not have a working detector in a hotel room. No excuse.
This is one of the nicest hotels in Morro Bay. We were very impressed with the room! Very nice, clean and comfortable beds. We had a view of the stacks and could see some of Morro Rock from our room and balcony. The price was comparable to everything else, but it was a much nicer place. Parking was a little tight, but at least it was in a covered and lit area. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay!
We had a super nice time. We had to be in Morrow Bay on Saturday so booked Friday night with my husband. Hotel was clean, quiet and check in was easy. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Angelica was extremely helpful throughout the say. Would recommend.
We stayed in room 207, a king with patio in this cute boutique inn. It was clean, modern, large bathroom and comfy memory foam bed. Our room didn't face the water, which was OK, it had a pation with a couch, chairs and a fire table, which we used at
I love everything about this place except one SMALL thing. Everything is exceptional- clean, stylish, great proximity to everything you could need and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The only note I would make is the pillows are not gre
I was visiting my friends, who live in Morro Bay. We decided to hit up Del Mar Park for their first pickleball experience. Despite a busy morning and a wait to get on the court, everyone we met was incredibly friendly. We began in the beginners' cour
We were on our winding way down HWY 1, from ragged point to San Luis Obispo. We called into shine, they answered the phone with a bright attitude ð. We placed our order for fresh tasty vegan specials and ate it over by the Docks. Very impressed wi
Morro Bay Maritime Museum. This place is my favorite place. There was no fee but the place was amazing. It had a lot of boats and boat-related stuff ð¶. On one of the boats, you could go inside the engine inside the boat and have a good look at it.
We were in town for a few weeks and needed a place to work out. We were treated kindly at this gym by staff. Elders worked out next to teens, everyone respectful. We found all of the machines and equipment we needed for a thorough workout. Thank you
Absolutely phenomenal. We came fornthe weekend for our Anniversary and have eaten qt a couple places that were so so. My husband was craving a hamburger so we decode to give this place a shot. At first i wasn't expecting much because of our other fo
