Motel with shoddy construction and false advertising. They advertise that they have Tempur-Pedic mattresses (the only reason I chose to stay here) and they don’t. When I asked them about it, they changed the subject and blamed the construction. Looks modern but no thought put into it. No storage for clothes, a wine cooler instead of a fridge, heater doesn’t work. Place is dusty and dirty, very low water pressure, and no amenities whatsoever. Would not stay here again.
Aside from the safety issue of the door lock from the inside of the room (it's comically weak and too easy to push the door open with a shoulder) this motel, Laura Lodge, gets a 3 for mediocre. It might be a communication barrier. I'd likely stop by again to see if it improves...which I'm sure it would. Stranger to stranger type of issue only. Easy barter however.
It's cool...alittle over priced but then again what isn't now-a-days...wonderful location...alittle sketchy at night time but it's cool...
Only stayed for one night as a halfway point between LA and Big Sur/Monterey. For that purpose, Santa Maria does the job, but there's really not much else there. Same goes for this place. Does the job, but nothing special and nothing in the area. Clean, safe, friendly staff and decent rooms. Good for the price if you need to stay in the area as part of a road trip.
The motel is good for the most part there are bugs here we stayed in room 5 and the spot were the kitchen is supposed to be it is a ""storage "" but really it's just holding junk cuz my husband for in that room and checked it out the bugs were coming from that so we locked it and stuffed the bottom of the door ducktaped the whole door and plus extra spots in the room and I have a baby so we thought it stoped but now I looked again and I saw them ugh we're are they coming from i think they are coming from the frige in the room but the rooms can be way better and safer for a baby to live in

Christian and Kobe at Santa Maria att near Betteravia were awesome- quick, kind, knowledgeable and efficient- she should get a raise or supervisory role. Quite impressed. - Joe Franceschi

Itâs worth the walk across the parking lot to here from Starbucks/Target. Great breakfast sandwiches & doughnuts. Super fast service and best hot chocolate Iâve had âfrom a machineâ rich and not watery at all.
People are sleeping on this restaurant. Breakfast burrito was amazing Pancakes were good and French toast was also great. Family owned and operated. Support a great restaurant.
Great little "get-a-way"! The ambience is wonderful. Beautiful covered outdoor patio adds to the experience. The staff has always been super attentive. Oh yeah, the food is deliciousð. One of the better falafel I've had. Crispy on the outside,
The food here is really good. I love that they allow you to sub out regular side or rice for fried rice! Their fried rice with spam and vegetables is so good! I got the Zoe special plate and it was really good! Parking shared with other stores so is
