Luckily we were only there for one night. The room they put us in was on the second floor, next to a staircase that was under construction. It was an inconvenience to have to use the far staircase to walk all the way to our room, but more than that, they started working on the staircase at 8am the next morning. Welding, sanding, and drilling at 8am. The hotel was not busy, there were only about 5 cars in the whole lot, they easily could have put us away from the construction. We also asked for late check out, which is 1pm (I appreciated that), however the cleaning staff came to check on the room 3 times starting at 8:30am. The hotel is just slightly too far to walk to downtown so the location is not great. The only good thing about this place was that they had parking, and there was a fridge and microwave in the room. The beds were not comfortable, air conditioning worked but only if you had it running the entire time. The room was very small, and got hot, they called it a suite but the king bed had about 2 feet around it. I will never stay there again.

The front desk is very welcoming, we had an issue with our keys and maintenance came right away to help, was also very friendly. The room for the most part was clean. They need to wipe the fridge handles, walls but it wasn't crazy bad. I always bring clorox wipes to wipe down things anyway so it didn't bother us. We would stay here again. The drive to downtown is only 3 minutes away ( 20 min walk ) so it was definitely a great location. The room has been slightly updated, I would give it a new paint job or redo the trim and it would make it much nicer.

I booked the royal sweet for my birthday and was greatly dissatisfied. I wanted it for the jacuzzi tub and to just have some down time relaxing. This room was really run down, the carpet was ruined in some areas, holes in the walls, outlet covers broken to bits and the list of broken things goes on. The wiring was crazy, sometimes a switch turned a light on and sometimes it didn't. Sometimes a different light would turn on randomly. The jacuzzi jets stopped working after a short time. We had maintenance look at it, but it kept happening so we gave up. I would never recommend anyone stay here for a nice visit. When I checked out I asked if I could write a comment or something because it's an expensive room for it to look so crappy. The front dest lady was very rude, she did not offer any empathy or even acknowledgement regarding the state of the room, so here I am warning others not to be fooled by the royal or executive sweets at hotel Aspen.

My wife and I along with our four kids stayed for 2 nights. Our room was a little dated, but the room was clean and the beds were really comfortable. Our room had a small kitchen and even a spa in it. We are on a trip around the USA and we all agree that this hotel had the best shower out of any other hotel we have stayed in on this trip. |There is a supermarket just 2 minutes walk down the street. We went there to buy breakfast and dinner. |We loved our stay and definitely recommend the hotel to others. My only negative point is, rooms aren’t serviced each day. Out of the dozen hotels we have stayed at around the USA, this is the only hotel that does doesn’t provide this daily service. When I enquired at the front desk, they said “we haven’t offered this since Covid”. Sorry, but Covid hit 4 years ago. Life has gone back to normal for the rest of the world, I think the hotel needs to go back to daily housekeeping of each room.

I didn't experience an overnight stay, so I can't comment on that. We received our key, walked in the room, saw the filth, took pictures, got a refund and left. The comforters and pillow cases were both stained black, looked like nothing had been dusted in months, leaking shower head, carpet not vacuumed, mini fridge stunk without even opening it while leaking fluid, eyelashes from previous stay. Could go on and on from my 4 minute experience there. Very sad standards. The best thing I can give them from my experience is that they didn't try to haggle me when I said to give me a refund.

Room was not very clean, Bed sheets did not look clean- luckily I always bring my own. Shower curtain was ripped up but held in place and didn't look so clean to, although they were white maybe they could clean it more with bleach. Floors were filthy. It was my family and I first time staying here. Also I was not happy that the Housekeeping lady walked in on us at 930am while we were in our comfy clothes still. Best thing about this place is the restroom is huge, shower was nice and it seemed a little more cleaner.

I was ready to be ok with this room since we booked it last minute. And then, when I went to turn down the bed in our room, the pillow cases were wrinkled and filthy! They obviously hadn’t been changed since the last guest had slept here or even before that, possibly. There is a phone in the room, but NO CORD!! When I called the front desk from my cell, I was put on hold for a bit of time, when I finally hung up. Ended up walking down to the office because no one was answering at the front desk, no automated answer or anything. Half of the outlets in the room don’t work. Reeks of weed!! This place is as ghetto as you can get. Please see photos. Totally disgusting.

We first were assigned a room that we found out was not cleaned. They prompted changed it. The second was cleaned up, but found a packed of Advil and some black colored sticker under the blanket, on the bedsheets. Rest of it was fine. Close to a grocery store. Allows pets, which was a huge plus for us. Staff was very helpful. They even told us that we should get a room on the lower floor as the stairs had spikes which would hurt the dog. Very considerate.

Maybe the best chain hotel in town. Walk a couple of blocks to plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. Beautiful, clean, spacious and light rooms. Nice breakfast, with friendly staff there and at check in. Upgraded to a corner suite.

I was pleasantly surprised! The lobby was lodge-y themed with a large wood-burning fireplace. Front desk was very helpful. The room was spacious (2 queens and pullout couch) and included a coffee bar area with Keurig, fridge, microwave, and safe tuck

I won a bet with my buddy about who had the best burrito in town. I made him eat an El Mayor from Tres Amigos. He looked me dead in the eyes and said: "you win".

Gracie Barra Flagstaff has been such a great place to watch our son learn fundamentals of life, safety and become more confident as a 6 year old. We've only been here since January 2023 and we have enjoyed every part of being involved in this academy
