Sweet, tiny hotel in a renovated, historic building situated in a perfectly quiet corner of old town Great Falls (across from a wonderful Farmer’s Market if you’re there on a summer Saturday morning) and abutted by a bunch of pocket parks and the civic center plaza. Small but clean and well appointed rooms. Celtic Cowboy, its attached bar and restaurant, is stylish, clean and has good food and service. So much better than the highway cookie cutter hotel chains. Our dog loved it too. Dog treats at the front desk! ❤️
We always stay at this hotel when visiting Great Falls because of the decor and the historic buildings. The rooms are very comfortable for a relaxing evening and the beds are amazing for a relaxing sleep. It’s in a perfect location to enjoy the downtown shopping and nightlife. This hotel is setup for adults only which makes for a very relaxing stay .
Great place to stay! All the staff were friendly and provided great recommendations on things to eat and see. We loved our room. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The Celtic Cowboy next door is a great as well! Highly recommend this place!
We had a great experience at the Hotel Arvon! The place itself is so unique and cool. A variety of artwork lines the hallways of each floor and the lobby, the rooms are up to date and yet you still feel you’re in a historic building. The staff was friendly and helpful, the morning breakfast in the Celtic Cowboy next door was excellent (also a cool place!) On Saturday morning, we were able to just walk across the street to the farmers market. The private parking garage was so convenient, also.
Great Falls Weekend. Enjoyed the C.M. Russell museum, Lewis and Clark Discovery Center and First People’s Buffalo Jump State Park. The Hotel Arvon is located in a renovated red brick building built in 1890. Check in was easy, elevator to the upper floors and the suite we had was perfect for our Anniversary Weekend. The art work on display throughout the hotel is great. We had dinner at the Celtic Cowboy which is connected to the Hotel. The food was good as was the service. In the morning the had a well stocked continental breakfast which included all cereals and breakfast burritos and coffee’s. Parking is provided in a covered secure parking garage. Overall we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend staying at the Arvon and support the efforts of bringing back history to be enjoyed again.
It's like history museum and an art gallery, all on the way to your room. The Celtic Cowboy bar is great. The area is SAFE! All staff are professional and pleasant to talk to. I had reserved a KING cooking suite because I was there for a family reunion. The room wasn't ready (I was told a maid went to the hospital, therefore it couldn't be cleaned). So we had to stay in a QUEEN non-cooking, which costed me more in the long-run, but only got $5 off the room. Seriously? This is what was offered? Disappointed in that. I NEED a King bed. Oh well. I still recommend it, but try to get a room with windows, NOT an inside skylight... you can't close curtains on them (sun starts early in the summer), and if you're a bit claustrophobic like me, it would make your stay infinitely better.
I travel extensively and I am a huge fan. Fantastic hotel. Historic and beautiful surrounded by local art. Rooms are a bit small would be my only downside. Wonderful staff. Beds are unbelievably comfortable. The Celtic Cowboy next door has great food and one of the best bars I have ever been to. Weekend brunch is amazing. I truly loved this place and am humbly grateful for their extraordinary hospitality. Highly recommended if you happen to be in Great Falls.
Great place to start our National Parks vacation. Vintage, historic meets modern creature comforts. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Staff was great, helpful, friendly. Breakfast included at the Celtic Cowboy attached. Would definitely recommend.
This nostalgic hotel in Great Falls is getting renovated. The rooms are being updated. Ours was very clean, was decent sized, and we enjoyed our stay. The people at the front desk were awesome. Overall, enjoyed our time here.
The staff here are just fantastic! I can't say enough good things about these folks. Kathy is just so sweet and really looked out for me when I stayed for a week! The weekday morning gal in the kitchen works so hard and the breakfast is free. She sho
The hotel is very clean and the pool is beautiful. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It's close to the airport and close to a shopping area that includes a grocery store, movie theater, book store and clothing stores.
