The good - first and foremost I found the hotel staff to be the most courteous during my visit and helpful with information regarding the local area and food establishments. There were quite a few, within walking distance for authentic local cuisine. Also within walking distance to the Nogales border (about a mile) The not so good - YMMW, but my room was comfortable, although the hotel is undergoing renovations, it is very dated as it showed in the furniture and amenities available. It may have been related to the season, but during my visit the pool was closed as well a well stocked bar and lounge that was closed and blocked off. And breakfast options were limited.
The rooms can use an upgrade, specially the couches and carpet but the hotel overall is quite nice, they have a little space for your dog and a functional laundry mat inside the hotel.
Location was convenient, hotel was clean, rooms were comfortable and quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The motel was older and in need of some freshening up in a few areas, but it was very clean. There is an outdoor pool but no hot tub. We were just looking for a quiet place to rest and sleep, so we were happy. Free breakfast is served in the attached restaurant and it was fine.
We stayed the night there on 4-1-2024 the service was excellent, the room was clean and all around the hotel, they have a pool but was closed because of the rain but the best of everything it's the hot breakfast the next morning, buffet style, small but enough before leaving the hotel.
Positive: The staff was very friendly, and the rooms are very clean. They also have a hot breakfast served every morning. Negative: I can't think of anything I dislike. We always stay at this hotel every time we come to Nogales. Negative: ""
The hotel is in desperate need of renovating, which it looks like they are addressing. Other than that, it's clean, comfortable, and a great value.
Easy to find. Breakfast included in price and was able to stay until 12pm (noon late check out). Only downside was that the plug on the bathtub was broken, so no soaking these old bones. Otherwise clean and front desk staff was very helpful.
Parking Lot was big and huge bright led lights at night. We saw a few law enforcement vehicles staying here wich was a bonus. felt safe. the host was super funny and nice and welcoming. carpet in the hotel has a small smell but not bad just probably because it's old. the rooms were very clean and spacious not crammed, the beds were awesome no back pain. the shower spout bottom was a little broken but nothing to worry about. very quiet room good cold AC, the breakfast was good the chilequiles were amazing will definitely be back for more. thank you guys oh and the bottom floor check in bathroom in the men has a metal piece sticking out of the stall wall I would remove it before some one gets hurt. I recommend this hotel. thank you again.
Classic ice cream parlor with delicious Mexican heritage treats! A sit-in diner area is available as well as outdoor tables, too! I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a quick getaway retreat!
A wonderful desert oasis with camping, boating, fishing, a beach and hiking trails. Great scenery combined with the surrounding hills and mountains. Only spent the afternoon but it looked like a great place to spend a week or more.
My visit to this restaurant has been an outstanding experience. I hope I have the opportunity to return.
The food I has was perfect. I left happy.
Food: excellent.
Customer service excellent.
Prices: fair.
Ambiance: typical mexican eatery.

Beautiful small wetland preserve area with picnic tables, shelters, and little trails to explore. The area is also home to the SEEDS group who's working to create a permaculture garden community
