A great bargain! The whole experience was great. Nice room, nice hotel. Great amenities for a small hotel. Free breakfast gave lots of options. Nice staff, free parking. A great bargain for an expensive area! Would definitely return. Really enjoyed it.

At first I was apprehensive because of reading previous reviews. However I was pleasantly surprised. Room with two queen beds is a little small but comfy and cozy. Property is kept well. Front desk staff was friendly and casual. The price was not fitting for size of the room, but overall it's a good place.

Just stayed here for 2 nights on our 3 week PCH trip and it was a pleasantly nice experience. The service was excellent. The bartender/Waiter for the Bistro was a great guy. He was honest and very relaxed. Really explained what dishes were best to order at the Bistro and the food was good. The little added things they provided made me give them a score of 5. A happy hour glass of wine was a nice touch. Also not just a simple breakfast but an amazing spread of things to choose from that was really nice. The had a great fruit filled water dispenser which was great. They also have a laundry service if you need it and I appreciated that especially since we had been on the road a while. This was one of those finds that turned out to be a gem. I will stay here again and would invite others to give it a try.

Such a lovely and cute hotel that's close to everything in Monterey. The only thing we had a complaint about was having to wait 20 minutes for towels to be brought to our room but even then that wasn't a big deal at all. We both have bad backs so the beds were a little too soft for us but that's not something we can blame the hotel for.

Location might be the best thing about this hotel. It has great potential, but, for the price, left us wanting better. Nice size rooms and clean. Front desk service seemed obligatory but not friendly. ||Breakfast was very good and had many choices. Housekeeping ONLY upon request & towels were poor quality. Room refrigerator was tiny and had no shelves. $20 per day resort fee not worth it.

The Hotel Abrego is a small, boutique hotel just off of Cannery Row. It is a long walkable (or Uber) distance to the touristy sites. There is surface parking for a fee. The hotel offers free breakfast and has a lovely hot tub and pool. The rooms were comfortable and updated. Just one warning - the website reports deluxe rooms being a king or 2 queen beds... We needed 2 beds so booked a deluxe queen room. However, when we got to the hotel, they had us in a room with ONE queen bed. Luckily, despite being full, the front desk staff was sympathetic and came up with a alternative good solution. But wanted to point out that the website description may not accurately describe what is available. All in all, a lovely stay and enjoyed our monterey visit.

This is a pretty cool hotel. I loved how clean and quiet the room was, and it smelled great too. The location is fantastic, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. It's a shame they didn't include breakfast, though. The staff was super friendly and even let us check in early. Plus, the checkout time at noon was perfect, later than most other hotels I've stayed at.

We enjoyed our stay here. If anything was needed they were right on top of getting it to us. The breakfast is amazing! Heated pool. Gym could use some weights but did it's job while I was there! The curtais helped block out light completely! All in all everything was great!
