Hot Wings Cafe - Chicken wings restaurant in Sherman Oaks - 4609 Van Nuys Blvd, USA

It's still one of my favorite wing spots in LA. Good atmosphere, friendly team members, good service, and wings! Love, love, love their ranch!! Their grilled cheese is good, too. The good thing is there is a flavor for every type of wing lover, so it's easy to pick what you like and stick to it. I like it pretty spicy, so it's usually hot and above for me.

Just hit this place up with my chick after 5 years the wings are still small but they are fire🔥 all the flavors on point! Plenty of condiments we had a good laugh but even better food! Glad this place is still around!

Let me start by saying, I love Hot Wing Cafe. Unfortunately, I've had MULTIPLE issues with having food delivered from this Van Nuys location via Uber eats or Postmates. There's been too many times where my food doesn't have all the wings. Mind you, I don't have that problem anywhere else but Hot Wing Cafe because a lot of the restaurants I order from use Tamper Evident Packaging- but Hot Wing Cafe doesn't. I've spent THOUSANDS of dollars here over the last 4 years, but i won't spend another dollar here until they reassure that their CUSTOMERS are getting their food UNTOUCHED. I mean it's not cool, we don't know what these drivers have but they're touching our food and eating it. Crazy thing is my whole family likes it, not anymore after to many incidents.

I've seen a mix in the reviews... Essentially they are all accurate. 1.) Staff is nice. 2.) The wings have good flavor. 3.) The wings are literally just skin and bones and this is the (unfortunate) deal breaker. Out of the 10 wings I had, I think 2 actually had meat; the rest were flavorful skin and bones with some cartilage and it's just not worth the price. I've had better wings at Little Caesars. I'm not sure where they purchase their malnourished chickens from, but I really wish they had meatier wings. If they did, this would be a great wing place.

This used to be one of my favorite wing restaurants. We got our order tonight and the lemon pepper wings were so salty we could not even eat them.

This is the Sherman oaks location. Worst wings I’ve ever had. They were literally skin & bones. When I came to pick up the server couldn’t find my order and suggested that I mistakenly ordered from another location. Horrible service & wings. Waste of money. It makes me really appreciate wingstop more.

Went inside to order. 4 different people walk by without even acknowledging me. Just kept walking by. I stood there at the counter for 10 minutes. Finally I ask an employee if someone can take my order and he said yes but still did not take it. I been to the one in Pasadena n Glendale they never treat there customers like this. I will never go this one again.

I had the lemon pepper wings the are the best, very flavorful and best well done, way better than wingstop wings, fries are OK, also had the peach cobbler, the peach cobbler is not good, neither is the ice cream, but everything else was great and the service, very good workers.
