The man who owns this motel is the best motel owner I've ever encountered his name is Wally and he runs a 5 star operation. He cheerfully fulfilled every request we had during our stay . He also permitted us to leave our dogs in the room while we enjoyed bathing in the hot springs. The rooms are old school they are clean and maintained well. Breakfast was all fresh and tasty
I would be thrilled to return here for another stay. Thanks Wally !
Affordable, clean property. Family owned and operated. My wife and I stayed for a couple of days to break up our trip to Wyoming and to see the local attractions. Wally, the owner is a great guy. Personable and friendly. Free breakfast was simple but enough to put some fuel in the tank. The onsite putt-putt golf course and swimming pool was a nice little bonus as well. Rooms were clean and comfortable. If you ever find yourself in the Hot Springs area, don't hesitate to stay at this property and support a local, small business. Thanks for the great stay Wally!!!
Great stay at this motel. Who needs fancy when you have a great host, clean room, basic breakfast and a free round of mini golf! Upon arrival our host seemed a bit gruff, but after a little bit, his friendly side was revealed. The room was quiet, clean and well maintained. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay again and so should you! Thank you to our host.
This place looks and feels like a real motel and it was a pleasure staying here. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a swimming pool and a Minigolf for the guests to play for free.|The breakfast had what we needed for and our host was friendly and welcoming.|
Clean, comfortable, affordable, well managed and maintained property close to Black Hills, Custer State Park and Wind Cave National Park, etc. The friendly owner, Wally, does an amazing job running this place. Delicious coffee and good variety of breakfast items included. My favorite breakfast item was the delicious raisin bread, which I toasted and smeared with cream cheese and jam 😋 Yogurt, muffins, fruit, cereal, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy available, too. Wally, thank you for an amazing 3 day/3 night stay! I really enjoyed our visits, much appreciated!
This place is clean, very reasonably priced and highly recommended by those who fly locally! The owner is a Patriot, and a good host. He has two daughters, both of whom attended the US Air Force Academy…which speaks volumes about their family. I would highly recommend this motel to those who simply want a clean, safe place to sleep.
Older type hotel establishment, but very clean, comfortable rooms plus this is a family run business.. the hotel owner knows the area really well, will make good recommendations for your local trip through The Black Hills. Very helpful and friendly!! We had a great experience here and stayed very comfortable for the 2 nights we stayed and would come back again!
Really good spot to stay. There aren’t many of these gems left - family owned business and they work hard to keep it maintained and clean. Mattresses and pillows were in good shape. New paint and decent carpet as well.
We typically stay in Hiltons every where we go, so I was worried. But this hotel and the family running it exceeded my expectations.
Tip: I couldn’t get the online booking service to work, so I just called. He was super fast on the phone and in less time that it usually takes to book online, I had my room reservation.
