Guys, this place is great! Whether you're going solo or taking the family, reminiscing, or you just think that 50s vibe is neat-o, come eat here! The food is out of the park delicious, the atmosphere was nice, and it was just plain fun to look at all the classic stuff everywhere. Awesome place to go guys, take your kids and your girlfriends and bring everybody! Did I mention the food was amazing!?
We went here for lunch while visiting the area. This is a neat little 50's style diner. We both had the lunch special burger, which was a smash style burger which was very good. Served with lots of fries, but we also ordered the onion rings, which are home made and excellent. Service was quick and friendly. Wish we had found this place earlier. Best burger that we've had in a while.
Such a hidden gem… I had an excellent lunch yesterday with friends. The Cobb salad was excellent & our service was amazing also. Sam was a very attentive and friendly server. We loved her!
Should be called "Mid Rods". My fries were soggy after I just ordered them, which means where we're sat out for a while. And I ordered a shrimp poboy which was nothing like a poboy should be. If you want ok food with good service then this place is for you.
Cool place. Biggest menu I've ever seen. Don't know how they keep that much product in such a tiny place. Our waitress was absolutely awful Angela J if you hate your job just quit and do us all a favor so we don't have to put up with your salty Karen attitude my husband left a 5. Tip she lucky I was outside she wouldn't have gotten NOTHING...I used to waitress we usually tip 20% or more. So she had attitude the whole time like we were a problem. Whatever. So we all got our food but our youngest 9 yr old girl. Chicken tenders and fries. My son got the Chubby...you mean to tell me chicken tenders take longer than an over 30oz burger? Waited 10 minutes get up to check. I will not eat until my children get their food that's just who I am...my child hungry and I'm gonna enjoy my food while their hungry? I get up she snaps that she told me. Ugh.. just beyond rude. Just beyond. Like be understanding that I'm concerned.. 30 minutes for chicken tenders? And when we were ordering my husband wanted the open faced roast beef she said dinner? I said the OPEN Faced. The dinner is a frickin pot roast I understand as a cook and foodie THEY AREN'T EVEN RELATED!!! one is sliced roast beef with gravy over bread. The other is a frickin pot roast with veggies...NOT THE SAME THING AT ALL!!! shoot know what the hell...and mind you I would have understood someone might not understand differences but she gave ME attitude about it...I'm like no ma'am they are definitely different maybe you should know a little bit more of what the hell your selling before you get an attitude. Son got chubby which was juicy and delicious. Carolina fries ok, open faced beef was good my husband didn't like they toasted the bread for it. We would have gotten ice cream and dessert but I just wanted to leave because that waitress was such a rude mess of a human.
This restaurant is a gem. The menu is not for those who are indecisive lol. There's numerous of burgers. I didn't experiment with my burger. I chose a simple burger called The Cowboy Burger. It's an 11oz patty, bacon, sautéed mushrooms and onions w/provolone cheese. The burger was banging! Their chips were delicious as well. I took off a star because the AC was beaming on me! It was cold to a discomforting level. Also, leaving the parking lot with a truck (F-150) can be a bit of a hassle if there's alot of customers during your experience. The customer service was attentive and friendly. In addition, I enjoyed watching commercials from the 50s on their numerous TVs. I will be back to try more burgers. I recommend this restaurant.
In East Tennessee it is hard to find a great burger and even harder to find a great Reuben, but look no further...I found both. Check out Hot Rods! Great environment for the family with an outside porch. Katie (our waitress) was very helpful in her suggestions. I will definitely be back.
Hot Rod 50s Diner took me on a trip down memory lane with its captivating nostalgia-filled atmosphere. From the moment I stepped inside, it felt like I had been transported to the heyday of the 1950s. The attention to detail in the decor, complete with vintage posters, neon lights, and classic jukebox tunes playing in the background, was truly commendable. The ambiance alone deserves high praise and earns this establishment a solid spot in the hearts of those seeking a nostalgic experience. One aspect that truly stood out during my visit was the excellent service provided by the staff. The waitstaff were attentive, friendly, and dedicated to ensuring that every guest felt welcome. They were always ready to assist, offer suggestions, adding a delightful touch to the overall dining experience. The outstanding service demonstrated by the staff deserves special recognition and is undoubtedly a highlight of Hot Rod 50s Diner. However, despite the exceptional service and captivating ambiance, I must express my disappointment with the quality of the food. The menu boasted classic American diner fare, but unfortunately, the execution fell short of expectations. The dishes I sampled lacked flavor, and the overall quality was subpar. It was disheartening to find that the food did not match the excellence of the service and atmosphere. In conclusion, I would recommend visiting Hot Rod 50s Diner at least once to immerse yourself in the delightful nostalgia and experience the exceptional service provided by the friendly staff. However, I would caution against having high expectations for the food. While the atmosphere and service are undoubtedly worth the visit, the disappointing quality of the cuisine will leave you unsatisfied. When you do visit, be sure to leave a generous tip for the outstanding staff who work hard to create a memorable dining experience. But, regrettably, due to the lackluster food, I cannot see myself returning to Hot Rod 50s Diner in the future.
This is the kind of stuff we moved to East Tennessee for. Nature and peace. We loved the Greenway. Great for a picnic, or photo opts. Good free family fun. But please throw your trash away... is that so hard??? #keepthegreenclean
Before my son joined New Era he struggled with balancing his confidence and emotions. He was also in OT for sensory challenges. Since coming to New Era, my son has learned how to manage most of his sensory challenges and has become more confident in

12/28/2023 at 330pm we unwrapped the burgers and they looked like in a commercial! Bun was perfect. Cooked perfect. Fries, you already know! Friendly crew is also a plus!
We had a great experience. We bought a 36 gallon bowfront aquarium with a stand. And some beautiful cichilds (fish) I am extremely happy with our decision to use rhos pet store. Thank you so much for making our fish experience the absolute best. We a
My server, Kaya, was responsible for several tables while I was there. Yet, she was very attentive and kept my two drink glasses filled, as well as asking me if I needed anything. There was a very large party she was also waiting on and appeared to b
