Great little park for people with little ones! Solid trail goes around the park and connects to the longer ones if you just need to pass through. It's got a good selection of playground equipment. My daughter lived the fire truck! Haven't seen it too busy and get family friendly.
Nice park to spend the day in with food options nearby
Great place to walk your dog as there are a couple of paved trails. It’s my favorite park to walk my dog. Perhaps it’s the time I go there (early morning or around noon), but it always seems quiet. There are plenty of dog bag stations to dispose of pet waste. The other dog walkers, runners, and cyclists that use this park regularly are very friendly.
Huge open park, with 2 baseball fields, a playground, open areas and prairie dog hills. If you're a biker, it connects with quite a few trail systems (Highline Canal, Powerline Train, Cherry Creek Spillway & more) and leads to Treadz, Peak 2 Peak Taphouse, and more.
Lots of wildlife in the bushes. Birdhouses all over, and hawks constantly circling. Fox, coyotes, raccoons and even beavers and the occasional deer. Walk with caution near dusk. Good for bird watching.
Accessible from Iliff or north on Mexico.
Beautiful area and well maintained. My dog loves walking around the loop every day. And the surrounding trails are lovely as well.
The softball fields were sub par. While I’m sure conditions contributed to it; it was dangerous to play softball on them from a stiffness perspective. The surrounding area was nice and clear of garbage.
Wouldn’t go again during the winter for the playground area if you’re taking toddlers. The snow doesn’t melt where you’d want it to. But the play ground is definitely toddler friendly and there’s a big area for running around. We will be back in the summer (:
This park is great there are a few spots to layout a blanket and relax, great for running/walking, and plenty of Geocaches spread across the area. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed per CoA. Happy hunting.

We stopped to have a walk in a different place yesterday. There is access to the trails here and we were just curious where they went. What a great spot!!! The trails are extensive and the parks are so cute! This one is handicapped friendly and one o
Shade! Covered picnic tables, restrooms, and lots of things for kids to play on, much of which is shady. Adjacent to the playground are ball fields, open space, and a forested creek with lots of birds. When kids aren't laughing and playing loudly, yo
Mom and I took 2 laps around the park this morning. Peaceful and very quiet! Beautiful Park!!
UPDATE: Mom and I schedule a walk here at least twice a week. We have met a few people who walk here around the same time as well. Very friendly and still
Nice park next to a school and green way. Youth Football practice fields as well as a baseball diamond and soccer area.
Probably a great sledding hill during snowy days, too!

The best park in the area, in my opinion. Lots of space, water, good for walking dogs or running. Disc golf, rec center, playground, basketball courts, tennis courts all a bonus.
1st time checking out Parkside Eatery & Taco Choi. Very tasty however I think it would improve the appearance and food if each taco had its own unique sauce and or toppings to give it more flair and flavor.
Excellent dog park for fur babies to have some off-leash fun time! It has trails, water, sand beach, native landscape set in a mountain range backdrop. The only con would probably be the entry price, it is $11 for the state park (the dog park is pa
The parking lot was a bit shady, but the place was amazing. Food comes in large portions -- they were really good but we could only finish half of what we ordered. The spicy soup was my favorite, but the curry was great too. Their service was top-not
This Nature Center is completely FREE! It has so many displays, interactive toys, nature books, and live animals (snake, turtle, and a lizard!) It is so wonderful!!!!
If you are wanting to enjoy the inside portion of the center (and let me tell you,
Stopped in on the way to Denver and would definitely come back! Their selection is quite large for beverages, and even though they do not serve food they openly encourage ordering food in or bringing your own! They are also pet friendly, so we enjoye
Absolutely amazing cuisine. The meat was cooked extremely well and the sides were very delicious. My wife had the steak and it was cooked to perfection and she truly enjoyed it. We also had the break for the appetizer and it was great. I suggest
I highly recommend visiting this mini mall during the holiday season!!!! Camp Christmas seasonal event is inside (timed entry tickets can be bought online or on site). Every store is full, tons of decorations, decorated trees, and lights everywhere.
Have come a couple time with my pup and today to have a peaceful place to chill while my car was being worked on.
The coffee is perfection, the food is delicious and this family owned business is the exact perfect vibe.
Come here, you will not be dis
I have nothing but nice things to say about this place. We were told 20 minute wait, ended up being about 5 minutes. The service was great and our server was charismatic and attentive. Food came out literally within 10 minutes, before the lattes were
Very beautiful park. I absolutely love the prairie dogs!!! Definitely the highlight of the trip. Walked my dog along the path and she loved seeing the prairie dogs as well. Lots of picnic areas by the lake. We had a nice lunch there. They have Porta
