Horseshoe Bossier City - Hotel in Bossier City - 711 Horseshoe Blvd, USA

Got a good deal on this room through a 3rd party website and I could never be happier. The soaking tub was large and I fit like a glove in it. Large bathroom and a very spacious room to begin with. Had a nice view of the river and other hotels and etc. I planned to stay overnight, but I wanted to stay longer than usual. Too bad I was on a tight schedule or I would've stayed at least 2 more days. Nice hotel. Front desk was very kind.

Nice rooms, well maintained and very clean. Nice views and comfortable bed. Staff was amazing! Decided to add a night after we arrived and it went flawless. Pool was closed due to weather so we will have to go back again just to check it out😁! Nice casino and even won a few bucks this time. Overall it was a very pleasant getaway and one of the nicest resorts in Shreveport/Bossier City.

Positive: I loved the staff in all areas. They were the sweetest most helpful staff by far. Even the restaurant staff was excellent. Negative: The hotel is older and the rooms definitely show that. The room had crumbs in the cloth chairs which grossed me out. Thank God I believe on traveling with Lysol spray and wipes. The restroom still had the previous guests cell phone charger plugged in.

Well it's super nice and updated in the lobby, but everywhere else? Extremely outdated. My mini fridge didn't work, no microwave. The elevators shook A LOT. Freaked me out. The TV in the room was a huge "flat screen" from probably 2008. No laundry bag for my dirty clothes. The only good thing was I was on floor 24 out of 26 floors. I was up so high I couldn't hear any commotion from the casino. Pool hours are 11-7 which is terrible considering you have to check out at 11 and you can't check in until 4. I wouldn't stay here again, not for the price I paid. Also, my toilet flushed constantly. It never stopped running. The water in it just ran all night.

As far as the location, it was great as far as the room we stayed in for the price not so great. The main areas of the hotel where amazing restaurants were amazing when it comes to their deposits on the rooms paid $266 for deposit that they take instantly when you check in but won’t give that deposit back for a minimum of two weeks other hotels in the area Are cheaper nicer and you get your deposit back next day and most cases. so for now on I’ll be staying in different hotels and casinos in the area not this one. This hotel is not worth the money or the headache, and for God sake, put coffee makers in the rooms like every other hotel in America

Great stay for the 21+ group, clean rooms and their ice cream was AMAZING! We seen a line for ice cream and thought we should try it and my goodness was it good! Yes it can be updated but it’s not much better than Fremont in Vegas! Casino reps were great and friendly!

I had an issue with my vehicle and was stuck in the area for the weekend. Booked a room here for Saturday and Sunday. The staff was really great first off. The elevators (every one) reeked of weed. The rooms were outdated and not clean. I haven’t seen a thermostat like this in 25 years probably. Or more. Definitely needs updating. For $375 a night on a Saturday they can certainly afford it. Also. Bought a phone charger at gift shop. It didn’t work. They gave me a second. Didn’t work. Would not give me my money back. Even though they tried it and it didn’t work for them either.

Enjoyed a quiet short stay. Rooms clean. Bathroom stocked well. Had a fridge no coffeemaker, but you can get some in lobby. All staff professional and attentive. Slots were tight but waitresses kept drinks coming. Didn't care for the burger joints food though, that's the only restaurant we tried.
