Nice neighborhood park that makes for a good stop when road tripping on I-95. Ample parking, some benches, a couple covered picnic tables, baseball field and tennis courts in addition to a playground for ages 2-12. There is a water fountain and trash cans. It has a bathroom, but it was locked for the winter today.
stopped here passing through on a road trip via I 95- perfect place to stop with the kiddos, especially if you’re tired of stopping at big truck stops or gas stations. Get some fast food or takeout use the bathroom there and then come here to let the kids and pups run around. lots of grass quiet clean residential area
Small playground with a great jungle gym. Bathroom is available and the grounds loook maintained. No shade on the playground but there are shaded benches next to it.
A covered picnic area is nearby.
We are on a 12 hour road trip and needed a place for thr kids to run and play to burn some steam. This park was extremely well kept and gave plenty of room and equipment for the kids to play. Loved it.
SUPER COOL spiderweb rope jungle gym playground feature here! One of the top three rope climbing features I have seen in playgrounds around Raleigh. Multiple cool spinning features to play on too! My three-year-old loved it here! Even though it was 91° out!
