My family has stayed at 7 different hotels at Wildwood over the course of 8 years and we finally found our home away from home in Horizon Motor Inn. Even with the economy the owner has managed to keep prices reasonable while updating several rooms since our last visit in August. The location is top notch being right next to the boardwalk and the walk ON the beach is shorter compared to most areas. The owner Kathy lives right next door making the place super safe and perfect for families. Plus her and the staff are so kind and accommodating. We always had fresh towels and trash, the pull out couch is just as comfy as the beds, and there is a kitchenette which helps cut down on food expense. Already looking forward to our stay next year.
Let me just say this place is amazing! Cathy the owner goes above and beyond to accommodate her guest! ! I stayed here an entire weekend with my husband and children and she made the stay excellent ! The rooms are clean! The pool is perfect! The staff are all welcoming and amazing!! I will be back soon! Tatiana
Like most of you, I searched up inexpensive rooms and filtered by ratings. I was looking for a quick, easy, and cheap overnight stay so quality was not my top concern. As my (good) luck has it, I was able to get all three. My room was exceptionally clean. No odd ceiling stains. No strange odors. Nothing was broken. Everything feels fresh and tastefully executed, especially for it's price range. The staff was immediate and extremely helpful. I will absolutely be coming back later this summer and recommend you do too.
PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! We were so excited to see that this hotel had availability and price that we needed so my daughter and I went in person. OWNER WAS NOT ON SITE AND DIDNT ANSWER HER PHONE! The maids reached owner on the phone and we were told to reach back out in a few hours. My daughter called and the owner was EXTREMELY RUDE AND QUOTED HER A PRICE WHICH NOW WAS $100 MORE! THIS OWNER IS NOT PRESENT! THIS OWNER IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE!
My partner and I are staying here and I was so thankful for the owners hospitality. I even woke up super early and got my period unexpectedly. The owner woke up and opened her doors so kindly (even thought I suspect I woke her up). The location is literally right near the boardwalk!
This place was great location service & owners are very nice. My husband and I didn’t want to leave. So we asked to add another day they gave us no problem. We would definitely stay here again.
I struggle to understand why while I was trying to reserve a room, they lady had an attitude on the phone. I asked a question and she told me she had no clue where I was getting the information from (I was on their website). Immediately decided to stop the conversation and look for somewhere else to book. Will never think about booking here again.
Family friendly, hostess worked her but off to meet everyone’s needs… close quarters, especially parking, but it all works out… Close to beach!
Our family stays here because Cathy & Vie treat their guests like family. They offer the best ocean views with clean & comfortable rooms. If you're a beach person this is the place for you! Perfect place to walk along the North Wildwood coastline

We always have a good time up here. Oftentimes there's live music and there's a great Philly crowd. We love the outside. The beers are expensive, but less expensive than pretty much everywhere else on the boardwalk.
