Horizon Inn & Suites - Motel in Anderson - 3025 N Main St, USA

I've stayed here when it was Red Roof Inn. I was hoping to see improvements, but aside from some paint, this place has not improved whatsoever. The shower is stuck, so no bath can be taken. The massive dresser that hides the safe and mini fridge is so uncalled for. My room doesn't have a trash can, the bathroom door is missing, the room number isn't on the door/window, and there is no ice bucket, cups, or coffee pot.

Positive: The staff were nice. Negative: I was scared for my life at this hotel. All the people were super sketchy! Drugs were a big problem! This is the hotel in town where the homeless hang out and stay. My non-smoking room had cigarette burns in the sheets. The toilet was disgusting!

Quite possibly the sketchiest hotel I’ve ever been too I did not take pictures because I wasn’t there long enough to think about it we stayed in room 144 which is a non smoking room as soon as we walked in it smelled like a cigarette people in the room next to us were screaming, and doing dope. I feared my truck would be broken into over night we were there for no more then 30 minutes before we left did not get a refund either. The health department should shut this place down. Over all unless you are trying to buy an 8 ball STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ***The good reviews are from the owners don’t let them fool you***

Honestly wish this could leave 0 stars. This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in. I wish I would've gotten pictures but me and my partner where just so disgusted with this place we just left not to long after we checked in. There were pubes all over the bath tub. Homes in the walls, all the night stands and TV stand where literally broken. Cigarette burns all in the bed comforter and Marijuana smoke coming from the vents from th3 room behind us. We called the front desk and she immediately stated no refunds. We wrote a statement and left it with the lady at the front desk to give to the manager. We literally just called the hotel back because my partner and I have been waiting for the manager to call us like we were told she would, and the girl who answered the phone was so disrespectful and nasty on the phone. I made a call to the health department l. So hope they come out and do something about this place.

Bad place, very bad place… full of druggies and bad people. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here and they think just because they changed the name that it changes the fact that it’s a crack motel.. you’ll find needles and all in the parking lot and surrounding area it’s not even safe for kids I feel bad for the kids that have to live there and if they don’t continue treating for the bug problems it’s just gonna go right back the same if it hasn’t already. You would be better off spending the extra $20 to go to days inn by wyndham.

Positive: Absolutely NOTHING Negative: This place is disgusting. Spent the first 2hrs cleaning even after switching rooms. A $20 deposit for a tv remote for 5 channels. Lamp shades missing, showers absolutely disgusting. Please get a new housekeeping staff. Came in town to sell a car thank god

This location used to be the Red Roof Inn. Stayed there last year due to some remodeling being done in our home. It was the most filthy hotel I have ever been in. I took pictures and told the front desk as well as customer service the condition of their room as well as the cast of characters loitering around the hotel. Don’t let the new ownership fool you. Same disgusting rooms and grounds. They offered no satisfaction for our inconvenience. We even notified the board of health in Anderson and have no idea if they ever followed through with an investigation. Stay away from this hotel if you want a clean room

If I could give this place zero stars I would! This was literally the worse place I have ever seen! When we got there we already knew this was going to be awful! We were in pure shock once we entered our rooms. They smelt as if they hadn’t been cleaned since the building was built. Our beds were covered in dead bugs, red stains, food, dirt and other unknown items. The window before we even went into the rooms had hand prints all the way down them. The pictures they have posted is a complete joke and lie! We refused to stay. We were only in our rooms for 5 minutes and would not sit our stuff down! This place needs to be shut down! Will be calling the health department tomorrow morning! We should have know when we saw the 4 cops keep circling the building when we first got there! This is the nasty place I have ever seen.
