Came here as a half way point between my sister and I and we loved everything! Their beer list is huge. I’m not drinking right now but they had mocktail/non-alcoholic options which was amazing. I had the non alcoholic strawberry margarita and it was pretty good. I do recommend the jalapeño poppers! Will be back

5 Stars are nearly impossible. I don't live here, but I visit family once a year and make a point to eat here to see if they are maintaining their standards. They have an excellent breakfast menu, elevated beyond eggs, bacon, and toast. They boast a pretty gutsy breakfast menu, and they pull all of it off. SO GOOD ! ! ! As for Lunch and Dinner, they keep up the good work 👏 👍. My only complaint, which is easily remedied is....the sauce on the Mahi tacos is a bit much. Kankakee is very lucky to have Hoppy Pig, and Brickhouse and I hope they support them for the years to come.

Went for Mother's Day buffet. Buffet was good. They had both a lunch and breakfast buffet. When picking the plate for the buffet I had to go through 3 before I got to a clean one though. Fairly gross. The dessert bar was pretty weak though. For a bar, their beer selection is outstanding. Many different options to choose from.

We went here for a baby shower because they have a party room in the back. We also went again for dinner one night. I wish they had the chicken and waffles on the main menu because they were the best I’ve ever had. Overall really like this place! Good beer selection.

My experience here was underwhelming. After a morning of bicycling the trail at Kankakee River State Park, we set our sights on finding some simple, mouth watering bbq brisket and pulled pork. Hoppy Pig offers straight up pulled pork but they (IMHO) try to get too fancy with the bbq brisket and serve it smothered in cheese or in a grilled cheese sandwich. Portions are on the smaller side for the price, service was good, add-on for using credit was lame. If a lot of big screen sports TVs or a big beer & huge bar selection is your thing, you'll like this place. If looking for a great BBQ experience in this neck of the woods, keep searching.

Only gave it three star because I was only there for drink so couldn’t give a full five stars. Loved the beauty of this place. Had slots to play and great variety of beer choices if your a beer drinker. I’m not but want to come back to try the menu

Excellent food and incredible list of craft beers! Multiple Goose Island BCBS selections from various years. I’ve had the Cheese curds, jambalaya, and jalapeño bacon burger. All were exceptional. The atmosphere is very comfortable. Plenty of bar space and table tops. The staff was always accommodating and personable! Highly recommend! The price is reasonable. I had the expensive craft beers so my cost was higher but it’s still cheaper than going to the brewery itself and you get more in a pour! Can’t beat it!

I live locally and am sad to saying don't frequent here as much as I should. The food is great! Breakfast is delicious and filling. Last time I visited I had lunch, chose the turkey club and it did not disappoint. So filling and high quality meat.
