Hope Lake Lodge & Conference Center - Hotel in Cortland - 2177 Clute Rd, USA

we stayed in 3 bedrooms (220A,B,C - we have a view on the parking... ). It was nice for 2 families with 4 kids. The kitchen was fully equipped. We arrived on tuesday and left on saturday. We had the hotel and the waterpark almost only for us. But, there was nothing to do: no possibility to rent bicycles (only on week-end), no average restaurant on site (fastfood at the pool). For that, it was really disappointing. The adventur park offers activities but it's really expensive. I believe that if you have your bikes, it's a nice place. Our rooms were clean and the beds were good. I slept on the couch, and the mattress was rather thin. I was happy to sleep alone! But the beds seemed good. Also, the rooms were well soundproofed. We went to the waterpark, our kids were almost alone, so it was cool and there were many lifeguards.||overall it was a nice place to stay.

I came with a little uncertainty about what this experience would be like. I had read a few negative reviews, including one about it being noisy at night (this would certainly be unpleasant). However, I’m happy to share that we’ve really enjoyed our visit! We got a package that included the water park and the mountain coaster - both were fantastic! I wished we had gotten here earlier to take advantage of the water park a little more! I appreciated having Starbucks on site in the morning for great coffee. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. We called the front desk for extra blankets and they were at our door 5 minutes later. An exceptional experience all around! We hope to return!

We spent one night on 7-8-2024. We were very pleased with everything. The room was reasonably priced for what rooms in and around Ithaca are going for (20 min drive from Ithaca). This place is clean and has all the feels and looks of an alpine lodge. Our room was big, beds comfy, full kitchen, clean. No issues. I had a scotch on the rocks at their bar and it was an enjoyable atmosphere. We did not eat at the restaurant but wish we had upon checking it out. Prices seemed reasonable. I thought their cancellation policy was a little harsh but thankfully did not factor in our stay. Parking is plentiful, stairs and elevators are accessible, exercise room is modern, well lit and clean. There is no complimentary coffee but they do have a pay-Starbucks machine and also a small barista in the lobby. Our room had a Mr Coffee but we didn't think to bring our own coffee grounds. I would def stay here again and intend to if we are ever in this area again.

We stayed in the River rock Suite and it was absolutely disgusting. The room smelled like an ash tray and it wreaked of urine. Our bodies, clothing, luggage, my baby's pack n play, everything stunk of smoke after we left. The room had dishes leftover in the dish washer, standing water in the ice bucket and mold, hair on the bathroom counters. It was disgusting. I would never stay again, which really is a shame because the rest of the weekend was fun. I couldn't risk getting such a dirty room again, especially for the cost. I had to trash my baby's pack n play because the smell won't come out.

Super endroit pour dormir quelques jours. Un timesharing ouvert en location quand disponible. À 30 minutes de la ville d'Ithaca et ses superbes chutes d'eau.|Studio propre et confortable. Lit double. Cuisine complète avec le minimum nécessaire pour préparer des repas simples.|J'ai profité de la piscine durant une journée de grande chaleur. L'eau était à peine rafraîchissante mais très bonne. |Hall d'entrée incroyable. Décoration de style cabine dans le bois et ce jusqu'aux mobiliers de chambre et de cuisine.

Wonderful resort to stay at with your family and friends; we stayed in the Eagles Nest Suite and it was very spacious and clean; We will definitely be coming back for another family trip :)

We loved our stay! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. When looking for other “big name” hotels I found this resort was cheaper than a regular hotel! Our room was cleaned down to the windowsill! The location is perfect for a little getaway if you enjoy hiking, mountain coasters, ziplining, s’mores and waterfalls. If you’re looking for shopping and restaurants than I would stay closer to Ithaca or Cortland. Your enjoyment will depend on what your activity preferences are.

The beds are horrible. This is our second time coming back and will be the last. You can literally feel the bed springs. We didn’t get one ounce of sleep. Very big let down considering this really could be a wonderful establishment. I hope they choose to upgrade their beds at some given point.
