We had a wonderful time at the Hope Inn. We stayed in the Safari room, which was perfect for us. The fridge in the room was a plus since we have food intolerances and bring homemade food along. Having access to a full kitchen, bbq and manicured grounds made our stay even more convenient. The free coffee, tea and chocolates were a treat. Denise, the owner is very sweet and welcoming. The house is just beautiful. if you want a quick getaway that is quiet and not far from the lake (20 min) or town, this is a great spot!

No words can even express this inn, from reservations to ending our stay was a great experience, we stayed 3 nights and out of those 3 2 of them we had the entire place to ourselves, it was just what my mind needed, calm , peaceful energy from pulling into the parking spot and going inside, everything was clean. They had everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The grounds were absolutely beautiful , they had lots of outdoor seating and if you are lucky you just might get greeted by some adorable critters. We stayed in the Morning Light which was decorated so nice. The bed was very comfortable. This place should be on the top of your stay in Redding Ca, no other place I've ever stayed compares.

Such a great place! Reservations online were easy. Great communication leading up to my stay. I chose to arrive at a time I would get a personal welcome from the owner, Denise, and she was so wonderful. She gave us a personal tour of the entire house and had some recommendations for dinner locally. The pictures online don’t do this place justice. Stayed in the Royal Shasta Room and fell in love with it. The giant copper tub was to die for! There was a last minute cancellation for the following night and Denise let me know it was available. Too bad I didn’t have enough supplies for another night. All rooms were booked the night we stayed but it was still quiet and peaceful. They didn’t rush to get us to leave the next day and it was very much appreciated. I wish I had more time there but will be looking to come back soon.

Super cute place. Especially gorgeous at night with magical outdoor lighting. The room was fresh & clean (spotless). Beautiful architecture and decor. Bed was comfortable & I've never seen a nicer in room set up for coffee & fresh water ✨ Would stay here again in a heartbeat

For one night in the middle of a loooong haul from Seattle to LA, the Hope Inn was a peaceful oasis. In a quiet residential neighborhood, easy to access from I-5, with beautiful grounds, the Inn has welcoming and comfy common spaces, and our room was spacious and inviting. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, shown around, and left to rinse off our “road grime” in a gorgeous stone-tiled shower, nap in the big, cozy bed, and feel thoroughly refreshed before heading out to dinner. 100% recommend!

We stayed at the Hope Inn in the Royal Shasta suite on our wedding night! It was perfect and we had a wonderful stay. Our hosts were so helpful and kind to us. I highly recommend this for anyone who is thinking about what to do on the night of their wedding. The grounds are beautiful and the room was spectacular.

My husband and I loved our stay! Even in a winter storm, the grounds were beautifully maintained and well-lit for enjoying. The home is warm, inviting, tastefully decorated, and pristine. Our room, the Royal Shasta, was absolutely flawless: spacious, perfectly clean, luxurious, and relaxing. Every detail was carefully and lovingly curated for a truly exquisite stay. We will be back!

This is our third time at Hope Inn, and will not be our last. We have already booked for next year. We have five couples going up for a church board retreat and it works out perfect. The common kitchen, living room and dining room functions perfectly. The room are exquisite and the amenities are above and beyond. Can’t say enough about Denise and Kirk and their willingness to serve our needs any way possible.
