Hooters - Sports bar in Lakeland - 3437 Florida Ave S, USA

My wife loves the wings and my daughter was the one who wanted to go since she's never been. We were quickly seated and ordered drinks and an appetizer of fried pickles. The waitress accidentally mixed us up with another table and brought cheese sticks but swiftly remedied the situation at no charge to us. As a man who loves sweet tea, I must say they have amazing sweet tea. This location on a Saturday night, from my experience, was a good to honest Hooters experience. Photo doesn't do the best justice as we were digging in as soon as it hit the table.

Once again they messed up my order. Then blame it on the delivery service. I paid $13 for chili nachos. I got plain nachos. No chili. No cheese. No sour cream. Expensive bag of Tostitos. Delivery didn’t make the food.

Came here for a couple of drinks. I ordered a Bloody Mary. The bartender didn’t ask if I wanted their signature Bloody Mary or a regular one. I had no idea there was a “fancy” one. I couldn’t understand why I was waiting on my drink. I looked at the menu and saw their 3 mile island for $8.99 that came with bacon and jalapeños. I just wanted a regular one. So she made it. But didn’t asked me what kind of vodka I wanted! This thing is flavorless! I’ve added a bunch or pepper and lime juice and still blah. I didn’t want to bother the bartender who originally didn’t have any other customers because she seemed miserable. Not once has she smiled or asked us how things are. First and last time I come to this location! We were also surprised that we were not carded when it’s policy from what I was told by someone who’s worked for Hooters before.

It used to way better there’s like 2 girls here that barely show there face and have 0 emotion there basically robots I didn’t ask for a to go box and she brought me one I guess that’s how I was told to leave the fry’s are cold if this company wants to do better these ladies need to act like it’s chick fill a straight up they have paper menus when I asked for a drink menu she said it’s online no physical menus it’s just weird

Back in the day Hooters was something different and a good time. Nowadays it's no more special than any other chain. Service is ok but unless you're a regular the girls only do their jobs, and don't go out of their way to make it anything more than what it is. I don't go that often and for good reason, everyone wants to feel special when they dine out. You don't need to be demanding, or complaining about everything, but sometimes actually chatting with a non regular person makes a difference.

Haley was amazing. She kept checking in on us making sure that we always had what we needed, and was really great overall. 10/10 would come to Lakeland more often. Food was also amazing, and the atmosphere was really good.

I've been to this Hooters plenty of times, but today the sauce on the wings was most likely store bought. Tasted like franks wing sauce. Poorly poured over the wings and didn't coat much of them. Definitely not hooters sauce. A bit disappointing!!

servers weren't the most attentive on earth, but there were plenty of TVs with great views from most anywhere. wings were fantastic! fries were done right as well. overall good trip! I'd definitely go back!
