Hook fish and chicken - Seafood restaurant in Miami Gardens - 18450 NW 2nd Ave, USA

Came in for the first time on a Sunday evening for dinner and was a great option. I was in the mood for something salty and fried and they delivered! The service was fast and everything was made to order. I tried their fried chicken wings (they give you the whole wing) so the 10 wing order was actually 20. Crispy, juicy and flavorful. The chicken gizzards were also lightly batter and they were delicious. The corn fritters were also pretty good. The conch fritters were good , but I would have like a bit more conch in them. Overall everything tasted delicious and I would be back.

This is a no frills location with fast service. We tried their conch, wings, French fries, and their strawberry shortcake dessert. The dessert seems to be made by a third party, and this location just carries and sells them, but it was a shareable size for 2 people and very fresh. Everything else was also really good and comparable to other similar locations like Snappers down the road. The prices were competitive, and for the convenience and speed of service, I'd gladly come back.

First time I tried the grouper, loved it all. Hush puppies are homemade. Food cooked after you order, lightly battered. We ordered 1 dinner to share and still had too much. Staff welcomed us with a smile made us comfortable, we will go back 😊.

The fish is fried perfectly. If you want Quantity and Quality this is the spot! 10 out of 10

The catfish wasn't nearly as tasty as it has been at other Hook stores in the past. The service was good, but I was the only customer there. For some reason, this Hook will not come up on Google unless you put the address in. I even Googled "Hook near me" while in the parking lot, and the other Miami Gardens store came up. The insides of the store DEFINITELY need some TLC. It's in bad need of a good painting, and there is a long, dark hallway leading to the restroom (which had no soap whatsoever, not even a dispenser). I love Hook, but this store, aside from good service, is a huge step down from any other Hook I've eaten from.

Enjoyed lunch, around 2:00 was not pleased that the price for my lunch was not the price the was reflected on the Order Menu. I was told that after 2pm the lunch increases by $3.00. BAD BUSINESS, Customers should pay what's reflected on the menu

I placed a catering order a day in advance. The order was needed at 10 am, but they didn't open until 10 am. The manager worked with his cook to come early to have it ready for pickup. When I got there, I may have waited 5-7 minutes, but that was ok because they were doing me a service, and I knew it would be fresh. It was seasoned and well cooked. Thank You 😊
