This place has good chinese food. It came up under a different name on Google so I was a bit confused when I walked in. The kung pao chicken was good but tasted like it was cooked in the same pan as seafood. I tried oysters as well, and they were decent. It seems to be chinese and family hotpot style place, but has a seafood name.

Love the atmosphere and the karaoke room drinks wasn't the best the boil was great for the price seasoning is a little to salty but taste good not to spicey even the fire option overall I enjoyed it

I went to this restaurant last year and the food was amazing. My husband decided today to pamper me, so I decided to come here again and boy I shouldn't have done that. First off the host explained to me that hook and reel merged with a Chinese restaurant okay that wasn't the problem. They told me that they still served the same food they just added more to the menu. That was a lie because they had hook and reel same food but the taste and quality definitely went out the door. I ordered garlic butter oysters steamed but it came out last and cold definitely not the same treatment I received the first time I visited. I also ordered a shrimp boil and added two eggs the boil was fine except for the potatoes being too hard and they didn't put my eggs in it at all. I told them I ordered eggs but I didn't get them until I was almost done with my meal. The staff was standing by the back wall our whole meal watching it just felt so weird long story short I won't be returning to this place again. Could someone please let me know where the original person that started hook&reel is and where they are cooking at because I would love to be in that building

Memorable place for a late lunch with family. Food was great, atmosphere is fun and lively, but service could use some improvement. Our server forgot to bring crab leg cracker tools which should not need to be asked for when crab legs are ordered. Other than that, they handled our large party well. I can imagine it being a really fun place during peak, non-pandemic times. Food came out faster than expected and the seafood quality is good. Soap dispenser in the men’s bathroom was broken, but I’m still giving it 4 stars overall instead of 3. Thank you for my first seafood boil experience!

This place was amazing! I can’t tell you how much fun we had with bibs and gloves enjoying the best Cajun boil! Everyone was so nice including our server Jimmy V! Amazing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend for anyone including families. I have 3 boys and they love seafood! Very laid back and friendly.

We went today and ordered some Cajun seafood food. The food was kind of low in flavor. But really the bad part was the waitress Jade that gave us the check without asking for it while we were just starting to eat. And it was not even late, around 6pm. She never came back again to offer us another beer or water or to check if we needed anything else.

The hook and reel is great. Food amazing!!! Service amazing!!! Shoutout to our server Jimmy, who was patience and answered every and any questions we had. Oh my goodness this place is amazing! Appetizers - crabmeat fries and fried calamari. The fries were delicious, I wanted more! Fried calamari was good, a little disappointed the sauce was a Red Gold Marinara Sauce in a container. The kind the kids get at school on mozzarella stick day. I felt like that could have been presented better. Had the Lobster Bisque next - the best I’ve ever had. Ordered a boil. Comes in a giant bag filled with air. I got extra spicy and boy was it! But still so good. The bag was pretty full too. Inside, it’s very clean and the decor was nice, made you feel like you were on a ship. They even have Jack Sparrow lol service is super friendly. You can tell they enjoy where they work. Our waiter was very attentive. An all around enjoyable experience. I will continue to go here and I think you should too!
