First-time vistor. We sat at the lunch counter. The waitress said they were short staffed, but we didn't notice. Service was quick enough and friendly. They were hustling. Hamburger and fries was perfect and was exactly what I was craving. The tuna melt also excellent. I would visit again when in th3 neighborhood .
Stopped here spur of the moment as we were driving east, thought we would look at Geneva on the Lake, and saw Honeybee’s as we drove through Geneva. Could not have been a better experience. Potato cake was great! Service was terrific and personable. We had a lot of fun, enjoyable and tasty meal, all at a very reasonable price. Will stop again. Well worth traveling the couple of miles from I-90 if you appreciate very good diner food with good atmosphere.
Great food. Staff is very friendly & always says hello & goodbye. Price are wonderful. Always some type of special going on. Family friendly & a very pleasant atmosphere.
Honestly I don't remember what I ordered and ate but I remember it was very good. What I do remember is our server was sooo busy but she was kind and funny, the place was full of locals joking with each other, and it was a classic small town diner.
Grilled cheese should be on Texas Toast. Bean and ham soup is like just like back home!!
Super friendly and inviting atmosphere! Yummy food! Our waitress, I'm assuming was the owner, foreign lady, she was super fun and welcoming! Definitely recommended, my type of vibe! Go Honeybees!
Absolutely wonderful experience! Good food, good service! Loved meeting Irene, the owner - especially when we discovered she’s a fellow Filipino! So friendly and generous - she gave us homemade lumpia for our cross country trip and offered to pose with us in a photo!
Popular place to eat, right on the main corner of town. Lots of places to park around. All the tables are in use and counter service. Was a little surprised that there wasn't any social distancing between patrons at the counter service or between tables. Food service was relatively quick considering every seat was taken. Food was hot and cooked to order. The coffee was refilled regularly and we were checked on often. The gravy with the biscuits and gravy was very good. The full order is big, so have a large apatite if you order it. The corned beef hash has a lot of corned beef in it and as not crispy, if that is how you like it. Prices are very good and atmosphere in the building is very nice. I don't think the photos do it justice.
We have been renting weekly Summer vacations here since the early 1980's. We always come back because it is beautiful, historic, and we are treated like family. Great access to both Lake and Strip activities. I personally love that while the Strip ma
Nice park at the beginning of the strip. Baseball field basketball court kids play area. Right next to the Geneva on the Lake sign. Peaceful place to walk around and get some fresh air. Get your picture taken at the G O T L sign. If you're a family w
The bread. Get the bread. It is amazing! Seriously - you cannot go wrong with the bread. Great service and wine too. Also - you can cut sunflowers to take home. Just ask the bartender for a pair to borrow if you forget your own. Mine are still flouri
Incredible food and atmosphere. The menu changes very frequently, but each time we've dined it's been amazing. The house bourbon is one of our favorites and their pretzel tart dessert is probably one of the best desserts I've ever had. Go to red eagl
The people are kind and the food is good. For a Chinese restaurant that's all that matters. 5 stars will eat here again. Bonus points for the decor. China has a very beautiful culture and the decor brings that atmosphere to life.
