I am a sucker for a beautiful sunset along the shore line.. and even with the trees across the way, it was absolutely stunning. The pictures don't do it justice! The squirrels playing off in the distance. Peaceful quiet atmosphere! I would def recommend camping here!
Quiet, well maintained, and clean! Offers a playground, pool, boat ramp, courtesy dock, and any kind of camping you wish to do. Bath houses were cleaned every day while we were there. Lots of wildlife to enjoy as well! The lady in the office was very professional, kind, courteous and helpful. We will be back!
State park very nice lots of deer not busy at all. Rest rooms could use some up dating and attention. Grove Ok. down town is 5 minutes away.
The park is great, the people that run it are amazing. They are very friendly and the bathrooms were cleaned at least once a day while we stayed! Highly recommend coming. They even have a swimming pool for campers from 9am-6pm and closed from 2-3 pm for lunch!! We were also allowed to bring our dog.
Love the park...it's so pretty and peaceful! We usually go for the day and not camp there...yet. But all it cost is 10 dollars to use one of the sites down by the boat ramp. That's for the day...and I love it in that area the most. So go check it out!!
Sites were super close together and had almost no privacy. Our awning opened up basically into the sites power ped so we couldn't even use out awning as a seating spot. We had to setup behind the camper which was strange. Very nice park for the kids. Both bathroom buildings left much to be desired, definitely need to be updated. Pool wasn't open when we were there but it looked very nice and clean. Overall an ok place to go if you're close by but probably wouldn't go out of my way to return because of the cramped sites. Hosts were delightful!
Good little park, the campsites are pretty close together, and not much on hiking trails. If your coming for boating though the ramp is walking distance close and the camp hosts are super nice and helpful. Some hidden gems in grove very near by is HarBer Village and Lendonwood Gardens.
Camp host is as caring and kind as can be!!! She guided me to my spot and once she saw that I had a boat, showed me the remaining open sites as there was not a ton of room to park on on site I originally booked. We found a great spot with plenty of parking and a nice tent spot. She swapped the reservation for me and I was set for the weekend. Great place to stay! Thank you for a great weekend!
