Honey Bee Tea is a franchise and still serves some excellent tasting Boba Tea. (Didn't expect) We tried the place because we were craving some and the reviews were nothing short of 4.5 in all of their stores, which made us smile with joy. They have samples of certain flavors, which I would highly recommend because you may want to alter the taste as per your liking. Funnily, they recommend you let them make it as per their method or it may not be the same. The other Boba places we've tried never had this as a caution, but we went as per their recommendation. We liked it, but I'm sure the ice could have been tad bit less since it was almost quarter of the glass. The toasted creme brulee was spot on. It almost tastes like liquified version of a creme brulee. The flavor was intense and we loved it. The other tea we had was the Okinawa Milk Tea and it was splendid. I don't know what it was, but I made sure to drink it to the very last drop. Barring the ice quantity, Honey Bee Tea is pretty good with their assortment of flavors and quick service. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Boba Tea! I’ve had this kind of tea one other time in SF and I didn’t like the plain tapioca. But this time, I was able to get flavored tapioca here, and it tastes delicious with the strawberry milk tea. The atmosphere was great, but this location is small. I went with two friends, and then A lot of people came in at once and I had to step out because I felt cramped in. (That’s a me thing though, totally nothing to do with the place, just want to emphasize this is a smaller location). The staff was super nice too. I will definitely visit again to try a different one.

This place is a VIBE inside! A fair selection of tea types (I’m a fan of the plain Jane black boba) as well as boba and add one Thank you inflation, it was about $8 for a milk tea with boba. Service was prompt, the dessert items looked interesting, not a large selection but looked yummy!

UPDATE: I was incorrect about the cup size. The store reached out and proved the cups are indeed the same size. Changing back to 5 stars for the best boba in the area. I removed my 5 star review because of recent changes they've made. This used to be the best place to get boba. They recently changed to smaller cups but kept the same price. The amount of substance you get now is almost insulting. The drinks still taste great but I just cant justify $6 on it now. The attached picture is directly from the counter.

A new favorite! We were in the area and decided to give this place a try. So glad we did! A very full menu with so many options to customize. Tried a taro milk tea, happy Oreo milk tea, and a golden pineapple fruit tea. Definitely one of the best Oreo milk teas we’ve found locally! Can’t wait to come back and try other flavors :) Edit: We went back the next day and tried the Ube Taro Latte and the Tiger Sugar Milk Tea with pudding. First time trying Ube and it is delicious! The pudding used here is some of the best we’ve tried not just locally but nationally. Edit again: This is now our go to boba shop! So many favorites now (Happy Oreo, Okinawa w/ toasted crème brûlée, strawberry or mango milk tea—but sub house tea blend, & passion fruit tea).

I love me some boba, and honey bee tea does it well. The consistency of the boba is cooked to perfection, it’s bouncy and sweet. There are many options here, I usually go for the jasmine milk tea with boba and grass jelly, it’s a mature sweet. Not extremely sweet like Thai tea and has a mellow aroma to it. I visit this shop once a week and I’m never disappointed. 🧋

Recently visited Honey Bee Tea and was thoroughly impressed by their creative and delicious tea offerings. Bought different drinks for the family and each drink I tried was a delightful blend of unique flavors. The atmosphere of the café is warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, happily recommending drinks based on my preferences. I highly recommend their specialty teas for anyone looking to try something new and flavorful. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Honey Bee Tea!

Super cute place! Love the ambience and vibes, great place to sit and talk with friends. You can tell that the boba is fresh and the tea itself is great. A little pricier than other boba places, but it’s still great.
