Homewood Suites by Hilton Teaneck Glenpointe - Extended stay hotel in Teaneck - One Glenwood Ave Suite A, USA

I had a really nice and spacious room with a view. The bed was very comfortable and the room design and furniture was modern and nice. The valet parking is quick and convenient. The staff at the front desk was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was well above average. I will definitely stay in this hotel again anytime I am in the area.

Pros: Staff were welcoming and very friendly. Check-in was quick and easy. It was about 10 minutes from American Dream which is where me and my family spent the day making this hotel convenient. Room was clean and it was quiet. Cons: Wish the breakfast buffet had more options, it was very limited. I booked through a 3rd party website and booked a one bedroom suite paying more for that option, but at the hotel I was put in a studio. Not a big deal if I didn't have to pay more, but I did. I would still definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful! Anyone who works here is so kind and considerate. I recently had a major surgery and when I returned here to recover after it l, I was welcomed back to smiles and hugs and kindness, |One particular employee, Dimitri has gone above and beyond. He is so soft spoken and I feel that he loves helping people and loves working here. |I know this may sound a bit silky to some people , but Dimitri always makes sure I have bottles of water. If he sees me walking around the lobby he will hand me a bottle of water because he knows for the longest time I was on a strict fluid restriction. And those bottles of water have , and I know it may be silly to some, but Dimitri looking out for me and asking me how I’m feeling or how recovery is going really means a lot. |Dimitri really does encompass the phrase “Its my pleasure”. I have seen him treat a very kind guest and one who is not so kind the exact same way. He treats everyone with respect, kindness and a smile.

We always have a wonderful time at this hotel, it is close but not too close to NYC. Kim at the front desk is warm and helpful, she is a real joy to be welcomed by. This spot is very comfortable and has a weekend getaway feel to it. Highly recommend it.

The hotel is cozy. ;Located in an excellent location. My room was great was a very well designed bathroom and a very large space in the built-in wardrobe.|A lot of free parking spaces are available. Breakfast is really good. Reception staff are very decent and helpful.

I am a Hilton Honors member traveling with my family and friends and I booked a night on August 1, 2024. When I arrived at the hotel I pulled in to valet and me and my sons got out of my lifted truck and waited over ten minutes and the valets never came up to help us. They helped over 10 other cars who pulled in behind me but never even asked to help. Just as a side note I am covered in tattoos and it felt like because of the way I looked I was being discriminated against. Since they were not waiting on me, I went inside and my other friends that had arrived 30 minutes earlier were there and told me they knew what room I was in and got a room near me. The only problem is, I never told them what room I was in. The front desk gave them my information without my permission. So at the front desk, I’d let them know my displeasure with them giving out my information and my displeasure of the discrimination and lack of service I got from the valet. They did not care a bit and acted like it was normal. Then, while I was checking in a security guard yelled at one of my younger sons for not knowing how to use the automatic revolving door. I also let the front desk know about this, and they could care less of my concerns. When I got up to my room, I called Hilton and told them about what had happened and I was put on hold for over an hour and 15 minutes even though they said it was important to them to help me. After all that time they came back and told me For my inconvenience, they would give me $75 off my room. I am blown away that they think that solves everything. I told them that I wanted to talk to a manager the next day about the actions of the valets and front desk employees and the person on the phone said the manager would be in contact with me the next morning. No one called me the next morning or anytime since then. I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism from the Hilton brand and this will seriously impact my travel plans moving forward.

Hotel is stunning, clean, and rooms are very nice and kept properly. Staff is extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and well prepared. Location is nice also comes with a pool, gym and outside area in the back. Definitely would come again.

The valet parking was the only real 4 star service we got on this reservation. Staff is nice but needs to tighten up on guest needs . Hilton offers contact less check in with digital keys and I was excited. Upon check in on app was informed I still had to stop by front desk. Which was a major disappointment 😞 The front desk explained digital keys aren't working to access garage if u parked urself . Makes no sense. The room we had chosen was given to someone else and they made it seem like they gave us an upgrade. Did have a nice city view. The room was missing a sponge , ice , mixing bowls and tongs . Not to much utensils . The garbage under sink is extremely small and cant fit anything in it. The staff made us wait about 30 mins to turn on our grill. Mind u I requested it upon check in at 3pm again before heading Down and again at front desk. The grill wasn't turned on until 6pm. That is absolutely unacceptable.I also injured my middle finger on their grill. So be careful the doors to grill are extremely heavy and handle is a little high. So the door slammed shut on my finger. I also requested a crib for my small infant before check in , after check in and 2 more times after that. Playpen wasn't received until 9 pm after calling front desk again. Breakfast was horrible. The eggs have a weird after taste and they had a weird looking Breakfast meat. The potatoes were burnt and mushy. The waffles came out dry . Not much too eat. So we ate fruit. importantly I booked this stay to be Able to grill and swim. The pool was ice cold and it was 85 degrees outside. Why is this pool so cold and it's supposed to be family and kid friendly. We couldn't use it. They also use way too much chlorine. The entire pool area reaked of it. Very big disappointment. They were nice enough to refund 68 bucks but we paid 223 and felt that wasn't sufficient enough. It really is a beautiful hotel. But I don't know if we will stay here again. This review wasn't ment to be cruel but to warn future guests before they decide on this place. Not the experience we were expecting from a 4 star hotel.
