Homewood Suites by Hilton Slidell, LA - Extended stay hotel in Slidell - 175 Holiday Blvd, USA

Great experience all around! My family and I only stayed one night because we are traveling home and splitting up the drive. We arrived late, around 1am and were exhausted. I checked in with Kim at the front desk. She new who I was when I walked in because they were expecting us to check in late. She had a welcome bag ready for me with water. I added a pet to our stay and she gave me the cutest little bag of milk bones for him. My daughter walked in shortly behind me and I explained we were waiting for my husband to park the car. She gave us two more bags for my daughter and husband. She had no idea that we really needed the water! Her welcome smile, warm personality is so appreciated. Especially when arriving so late. She really made me feel so taken care of. To top it off, even though they are doing renovations, the hotel was so clean, very nicely decorated and smells so new! Our room was very comfortable. Such a good experience and Kim really set the tone for the whole stay. She is wonderful!

Some construction going on right now which made things a little weird but overall it was a good stay. Room was clean and had a little kitchenette. Pull out couch wasn't that bad to sleep on. Room was quiet. Breakfast was a little weird but I think they don't have their kitchen area fully set up yet. Food was good though and they had these little breakfast cake thingies that were delicious. The kids thought the mirror not fitting the frame was funny. I stayed here long term (about a month) and was very comfortable and happy with everything. I was able to have my cat with me too! The front desk staff were all very helpful and welcoming. Shout out to the day shift maintenance guy (I forgot his name but he had longer hair!) he was SO helpful and attentive and really went above and beyond. I will deff be recommending this location to friends who travel. Thanks again to the whole staff.

The hotel was in very great shape. The room was really nice and well decorated. The bathroom had wallpaper that you would not typically see in a hotel and was very modern. It was sizable plus had a pretty large closet. The bed was very comfortable. I didn’t check out the TV, but at a casual glance it appeared that it had a lot of channels. The room felt more like an apartment than a motel room. The lobby and dining area had a very warm feel to it. Our room was ready early, and we were sent texts during the day checking on our stay. Although the breakfast was good and substantial with a lot of different offerings, including these little cheesecake and chocolate chip bites, enormously sized muffins, and pork carnitas, by the time we got down there at 7:30 AM it was not being regularly restocked.

We always stay at this hotel when we are in the area. We were greeted my a very friendly lady at checkin. The hotel and room were very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and everything was well stocked and hot. At checkout the lady was very friendly. We will stay here again when in the area. This is how all hotels should be.

Everything was great, from check in to departure. The 4th floor room was recently renovated so it was awesome. Towels cleaned and clean sheets. I bring sheets and cleaning supplies when I stay at hotels, but nothing was needed. Will return. This was my March 16 birthday getaway.

Amazing! Felt like home away from home. Very clean, great breakfast and amenities. The staff was very nice and helpful. 10/10

I walked in to my room yesterday at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Slidell, LA and your housekeeper had a construction worker on my couch. Your staff at the front desk offered me 20,000 honors points to make up for it. Less than one half of a free night! Woo! Thanks! Update! Uh oh! An extra 30k points offered!? One free night to make up for this?! Just be aware of what goes on in here before you bring anything valuable... or kids. UPDATE: MGMT left their response a few hours ago, asked me to call today. Nobody from MGMT is in today, so this is just an automated response like the 48 other automated responses I've received. There's like a 4% chance they're going to resolve this.
