Homewood Suites by Hilton Schenectady - Extended stay hotel in Schenectady - 2A Freemans Bridge Rd, USA

Spent three nights at this hotel with another couple. The studio rooms are great! Very roomy and clean. The free hot breakfast was fantastic. A nice variety every morning. The staff was excellent, especially Shawana. She went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Why would definitely stay here again.

Clean and welcoming to guests. The desk staff was very helpful and professional when it came to my time to check in and out. My room was clean and supplied with clean towels. The view of the river from my room window was beautiful. The breakfast and coffee were amazing. I would recommend this place as a get away for my friends.....Thanks

Very nice spacious room, pleasant layout, full kitchen, and comfortable bed. The shower was the only thing that could have been better. They have a decent snack shop with a surprising variety of offerings. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent for the 3 mornings during my stay.

Run of the mill highway hotel. Usually I am not to critical. The gentlemen at the front desk told me “we have no rooms” upon calling to see if there was availability. When I mentioned “there’s availability online” He told me to book it there then and hung up the phone. |The grounds are unkept, garbage all over the parking lot and surrounding the building. The carpets in the room were stained and overall gross. The nasty floors continued into the elevator and hallways. Something as simple as very dirty floors made me think twice about what else was not cleaned properly. There was an awful odor coming from behind the restaurant when outside, and the breakfast was overall gross looking - didn’t eat upon seeing it. |Not the worst, but far from the best. They need to invest in a carpet cleaner something terrible.

Hotels are just hotels to me especially when on business trips. I was having some issues regarding a booked reservation I had which wasn’t allowing me to check into my hotel. Fran at the front desk was very sweet and helpful in helping me work through and resolve this issue. She was very understanding of the situation and made my hotel visit 10/10. Would recommend.

We stayed here while visiting family near Albany. I had the option of choosing a room on the Hilton app. When I checked in at the front desk, I was told the room i chose was "out of service". However, when passing by said room, there was clearly a " do not disturb sign" on it with people inhabiting it. Not a huge deal, but having why give the opportunity to choose a room if it wasn't really on option? The room we had was clean. A small portion of the rug was frayed and coming up at the transition near the kitchen area. My kids kept tripping over it. We did see staff vacuuming the hallway and someone did provide pool towels when there weren't any. My kids enjoyed the pool and watching jet skiiers on the water as we walked around outside the hotel. Breakfast was good and there was ample selection.

Everything was great except for a two bed suite. There should be more privacy to get dressed. The bathroom/shower area has a door and is tight, and outside of that are the two sinks and the closet but no door. It is pet friendly and the breakfast was good.

Everything you need for one night or a week. |The efficiency kitchen is such a great addition to the room. Sink, full sized fridge, 2 top burner and dishwasher. ||The room is large and comfy. The staff is wonderful and the property is well maintained.
