Homewood Suites by Hilton Rocky Mount - Extended stay hotel in Rocky Mount - 231 Gateway Blvd, USA

Welcoming staff, clean, comfortable room, easy access from the highway and a restaurant/bar near-by. After a long day on the road it is exactly what we needed. We have stayed here in the past and always found it to be just as expected. Breakfast is also very good.

Our room was downgraded, without our consent, when reservation was made one month prior. It was corrected, but not without effort on my part. Their website said that King rooms were still available, but the price was higher than my original reservation. Front desk was very pleasant. Our room was okay, couch was worn and dirt or mold in corner of bathroom. The bed and linen were comfortable and clean. We did not use kitchen, but well stocked and very clean. Breakfast room was clean and ample choice of selection. Location was good, and restaurants were close to hotel. The computers in business center did not work.

A convenient place to stay driving down 95 between Baltimore and Hilton Head. Easy check in, hilton honors acknowledged with water. Clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was fine - I had grits and some coffee. We had dog with us and though dog friendly hotel - room was very clean

Nick was amazing! Delightful, professional and eager to assist! He gave us a fabulous first impression and the rest of the team delivered as well. We have saved this hotel so we can come back any time we are in the area. The room was clean, beautiful, comfortable and well cared for! Positive: Don't know what the bad reviews are about? The place looked new and sparkling clean. Even the public restroom. We had room 300 and it was great. Everyone we made contact with was very pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful and great variety.

I booked “by Hilton” “ by whatever” before and never paid attention. This one is amazing, kitchen with microwave, fridge even dishwasher (they give you dishes too!). Closet, with iron board, iron, many hangers. Layout is so smart, they took a typical hotel room and just made it amazing. This is not 5 starts, it’s 6-7 stars easily. And yes, clean, with pool, huge breakfast room, I didn’t use it, but meeting rooms and other “business rooms” look top notch

Smelly like animals. Over powering oder controlling spray in the halls that wears off by the end of the day. Our room smelled so bad that we had to prop open the door and air it out. Searched the room for the cause of the oder and didn't find it. Then was charged a $75 pet fee and we didn't have a pet. They said they found dog food in our room, which is impossible as we searched the room for the source of the smell and didn't find pet food. Worst experience in a hotel EVER. NEVER stay here!

Great check in. Very nice rooms. Place is clean and comfortable. Social hour at 5pm, wine, beer and snacks. An exceptional good hotel.
