Homewood Suites by Hilton Raleigh/Cary - Featured Reviews (902)
Hotel is not the most updated, but still very comfortable. The service is 100% top notch. The general manager, John made sure we had everything we needed. The free breakfast was one of the best in the Hilton brand. The reception is Monday through Thursday and they feed you real food and drinks. No need to go to dinner. Best part is, not one employee was unfriendly. Literally, everyone made sure all our needs were met. I am big on customer service and they far exceeded my expectations.
Staff was great. We were put into a ground floor room (avoid at all costs). Ground floor rooms (while they have outside access) are literally in a dungeon with separate access. Feels like not even a part of the same hotel. Smell in hallways and in the room was awful. We asked for another room knowing it was a sold out weekend. Luckily they found a way to accommodate us - to a smaller bed set up and an accessible bathroom. However we were so happy to get away from the musty nasty smell that we were willing to take whatever they could give us.
Breakfast honestly was better than most included hotel breakfasts.
Clean. Older property but well maintained. This location has food and beverages Monday through Thursday nights which many other Homewood locations have reduced that to one night. Friendly folks were supporting the guest with food and drinks. My particular room did not have what I expected in Homewood suites as far as stove and full size refrigerator. That's slightly my fault and I didn't read the room description when I made the reservation. This location would definitely benefit from a charging station for cars. In fact I could not find an external outlet for a mobile charger. Breakfast is exactly what you would expect in the mornings. Friendly check in.
This was my third weekly stay at this location. The first time was great. The second was ok but the carpet was soaked in the closet when I checked in and no towels in my room. I was exhausted so I let it go with the promise from the front desk to bring me towels when they were dry. They did bring me towels, but a few days later I found out why the carpet was soaked The toilet overflowed and soaked all of my shoes I called and asked to switch rooms in the front desk. Clerk told me they were sold out so I needed to move quickly so they could turn that room over for someone else. Poor people. Moved all of my things over to the other room and the remainder of that stay was pleasant On the last stay I stayed on the ground floor. Dishwasher leaked every time I used it, which is probably why when I checked in there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. On the third night , I found two dead roaches, one in the corner and one in the door seal. When I got up to go to the bathroom that night, the biggest Roach I have ever saw was running around in the bathroom and I had to kill it. I left after I got off of work that day and didn’t even bother To stay the last night. I couldn’t sleep thinking there was probably roaches crawling on me I stay with Hilton every month, but I will not be staying here ever again.
The entire property also had the constant scent of marijuana.
I'm a Diamond member and stay at Hilton hotels weekly. This one is smells terrible but worst the woman that works front desk is rude. She was working 8/3/24 around 5 pm plus she was here when I checked in on Friday night 7/26. My luggage was lost at the airport so I asked her if they would bring it to my room when it showed up, she said no. Then I asked if she would call me when it showed up and she said no I should probably just keep checking at front desk. Really!!! | The other day they came in to clean my room and didn't even make the bed. |Today I went down at 5 am and asked to have my room cleaned and the sink in the bathroom unplugged. I came back from work, and it still wasn't done so I went to the front desk and waited and waited and waited along with another gentleman. AND YA same rude woman showed up didn't even say sorry- hi- or go jump off a bridge!! I asked if they were going to clean my room and fix the sink, she said they were still cleaning rooms, and she would add my sink maintenance to the book, 6:58 pm and room is still not clean, and sink is still plugged. |I will say most of the men that have helped me have been great this morning a young man making the breakfast (singing) helped me and he was very friendly and helpful and so was another guy that worked the 5-7 appetizer social.
I am prompted to leave a review because the fellas in the kitchen are impressive ! The breakfast staff is very professional and friendly, and those that prepare the complimentary evening meals exceed all expectations. This crew put their hearts into their service, and it is much appreciated. Much more gratitude is due these dedicated and talented individuals.
Great location next to a large shopping center and main roads. Staff is very friendly and accommodating plus it is pet friendly. Breakfast was a little on the light side in terms of choices and the laundry machines are not free at this facility. They are renovating the hotel but it was still clean and well kept.
Everything was in good order. I was a late arrival and had to park by dumpster. As I was getting my things, I heard a sound and looked up to see a man had emerged from the dumpster and was sitting on the enclosure. He slinked back into the enclosure but watched me through a crack. Harmless, but gave me a little jump. No fault of the hotel. I would just recommend parking somewhere else closer to the hotel building. Everything inside was great.
Our institution had wonderful yoga sessions with Anjana Yoga. The kids had a wonderful experience and enjoyed their yoga. They gained knowledge of different asanas. How to enhance each pose to their best capability. The importance of breath technique
My son loves it here. We tested out 4 other Taekwondo classes, and found this one to be the best fit for us. Excellent, energetic, fun Master who addresses your child by name, clean facility, and very organized. He has already gained some great skil
Sessions at F45 are a really fabulous experience. I only ever went to gyms to do solitary workouts on equipment I was comfortable. A workout with a class of up to 25 - 30 people was just a great experience and kept you motivated throughout the 45 min
