Homewood Suites by Hilton Port St. Lucie-Tradition - Extended stay hotel in Port St. Lucie - 10301 SW Innovation Way, USA

We stayed here for one night, traveling with our 3 year old son. The front desk (wisely) placed us in a corner suite, further away from the other rooms. We loved the privacy and size of the room. Had plenty of space for our son to run around. We loved the in-room kitchen, and made use of all of the appliances during our one night stay. The blackout shades in the room were awesome. We got the best night's sleep. The breakfast buffet was decent. When we were checking out, the front desk staff gave my son a coloring book, which was very sweet. We would stay here again without hesitation.

While the hotel seems pretty well maintained, it is showing its age quite a bit. It is also rather dated in its decor. It didn't look like that in the pictures I saw but it does appear rather dated. Service was excellent. Everyone's super nice. The breakfast is solid and if you're in the area this would be a reasonable hotel

Overall, it was pretty good. Unfortunately, the room was set to 62 degrees and made the room wet from condensation. Running the heater for a little while helped. Also, one of the ac units thermostats wasn't working right. Turned it off, and things were a whole lot better. The lobby had same issue. Running the ac so low caused the vents to drip and they had to put buckets out all over. Note to all hotels: setting the ac at 62 makes the room wet and very uncomfortable for hours. 72 is a good temp instead.

The hotel staff are top notch. The location is very convenient to I-95 and local shopping. The breakfast from what I could tell (only grabbed an egg on the run) was nice. The lobby and breakfast area were very clean. BUT - we had a regular room and the "presidential suite" and both rooms smelled like dog urine and mold to the point it would choke you when you first walked in. Unless you absolutely need a kitchen - stay across the parking lot at the much newer/nicer Marriott.

This hotel is deceptive. When you walk in, it looks nice, clean, and bright. Staff are kind and helpful. But then you go to your room and are hit with the WORST URINE SMELL ever! We had a two-bedroom suite, one King, one Queen. The King bedroom urine smell was so severe I was gagging. But the hotel was fully booked and I couldn't get our suite changed. I requested that they do something/anything for the smell while we were away all day. Came back late at night, no changes, no one took care of anything. I sprayed my pillows with air freshener just so I could get to sleep. In the morning, there was a puddle in our bathroom under the light fixture. No one had showered. I stay in Hiltons often and this was by far the worst experience. I do NOT know why the overall score for this place is "excellent." That is some scam. I am so disappointed and I feel no one will address the situation. Read the reviews, folks, don't trust the overall ratings!

Great service, clean rooms and public spaces. Nice gym. Special thanks to Laya for taking great care of us! Stayed on our way from Orlando to Miami - really convenient location just off the highway and close to grocery store etc.

Front desk was good. Hotel is just outdated, smelly, old, old and did i mention old. My first room is smell like someone peed on my bed. My second one smell like they peed on the walls. I liked the design layout of the rooms but its not up to date. Lobby is nice. Definitely 1st and last time staying here.

Great location! Easy in and out. The suites are very nice. Roomy and 8 out of 10 clean. The mattress sucked. Had to flip it over to get rid of the slump. Nice kitchenette and pull out couch.
