Homewood Suites by Hilton Plano - Richardson - Extended stay hotel in Plano - 2601 President George Bush Tpke, USA

Very large establishment. Need to be fit to walk in and out the room. Elevator are very slow, took the stairs most of the time. Parking was mostly full. Breakfast is just OK. I would love to see more fruits options. No liquid soap in the bathroom. Need to improve and get these liquid soap containers inside the shower. Not very clean. Could see hairs, and other leftovers in the room.

Stayed at this hotel for three days for a family get together, stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. They set-up was perfect for our party of four (two couples). We enjoyed having a shared living room area for socializing and conversation. All of the furniture was comfortable and clean. Everything in the room was in good was in good working order, very comfortable bed and linens, responsive A/C system. ||Room was cleaned each day (a rare thing in hotels today). Common areas were well maintained and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and well-stocked each morning. Hallways were well maintained, featuring photos of Texas-born celebrities (had fun trying to identify them all.). Staff was always helpful and polite when called upon for any matters. Location was convenient for all of the things we needed to do, a bit further from Downtown Dallas, which you would need a car to travel to downtown Dallas.||Used outdoor pool twice, nice and refreshing, and well-maintained, along with the outdoor seating and recreation areas.||I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when in the area; I enjoyed staying here.

Great location. Clean rooms. Definitely in need of an update. Pool was closed for renovation. Breakfast was fine staff was nice. Busy. Digital key didn't work. Got a good workout going up and down. 1 elevator was out. 1 working. Quiet neighborhood. Close to restaurants and shopping. Nice.

I have stayed at this location on multiple occasions, and every time I feel welcome and at home. The rooms are always fresh and clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the front desk staff are amazing. I always feel like I’m talking to Family at this hotel, because the staff are extremely courteous, friendly, and have a passion for what they do. I highly recommend.

Rooms could have been perfect if it didn’t smell like cigarette smoking. Good bed, decent TV and remote and nice blackout curtains. Service was ok. The check in desk was efficient and professional as well the housekeeping staff but the breakfast and their staff was way under par. Constantly asking for items that ran out. Location is perfect. Easy on and off to the highway.

Well I’ve only been here a few hours but I felt compelled to write a review today. Let me start by saying that my family was having a pretty rough few days. Our home flooded and we had to vacate quickly. We stayed at another hotel nearby until we could come up with a plan. I checked out of the other hotel at 10am and didn’t have anywhere to go until check in at 3pm. I took a chance and called the hotel and Rayha was so kind and told me I could come immediately! I was dealing with a lot of stress and a sick 2 year old who needed medications and a nap. We were able to get the car unloaded and a long nap for the sick toddler. The room was very nice and will be a much needed break from the standard room we were in for the last 2 days. Thank you to the kind housekeeper who also checked in on us! I know choosing this Hilton location was the best plan for my family!

I liked this place, a good-sized room conveniently split into bed and not-bed areas. Nice kitchen area, not fancy of course but fine. And a good price (I stayed at a pretty dead time.) Also, wired internet, a rarity in this day. Big TV in each room. Effective HVAC, if a little loud. Nice bed, couch, chairs, etc etc. Oh, and the b'fast was pretty good. I would have given 4 stars, but while I was there they were doing some cleaning/painting on the exterior of the building. That's fine, and actually nice, in general. However, I walked out of the building one day to find a couple of orange cones behind my car, and a little crane thing right next to it with guys doing exterior work right up above! Some kind of sticky gunk got all over my car, which (thankfully) isn't paint and it comes off. However, I generally prefer not to have my car dusted with gunk by a hotel while I'm parked.

Stayed here with my family of 5 over Labor Day weekend. Awesome location, super clean grounds and every staff member was very friendly! Good breakfast, excellent rooms and easy check in/ check out. Unfortunately during our stay the guests across the hall from us fell asleep while cooking chicken at 4 am!! This resulted in evacuation, fire dept etc. I was a little disappointed at the hotel staff’s utter lack of coordination with guests. We were some of the first out and saw other guests continuing to shuffle out a good 30 mins after the original alarm. If this was a true fire situation I would fear the result! We are left with all of our clothes smelling awful!! Members of my family also suffer from asthma which was obviously triggered by this smoke event. I feel like some offer should have been made for us guests closest to the “fire” to switch rooms, launder clothes etc. I hope management takes these comments and provides staff with some training on some of these issues. Hate to knock down a 5 star review for issues beyond the hotels actual accommodations, which was fantastic but I was bothered by the lack of any communication!!
