Homewood Suites by Hilton Palo Alto - Extended stay hotel in Palo Alto - 4329 El Camino Real, USA

I stayed at the Homewood Suites in Palo Alto for almost 8 weeks earlier this summer because of a job I was doing nearby in Mountain View. It's a rare thing to stay at a hotel for so long but because of the nature of my work (actor) I tend to do this from time to time. So I have a unique view of the hotel - and I'm happy to report it is a great place to stay. The staff was spectacular, and the hotel was truly lovely the entire 8 weeks. I was here by myself for about 4 weeks, and then my husband and our dog (his service animal) joined me. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. If I ever had an issue or a question, I was helped right away. The room was clean and very large, and quiet. The hotel was very well managed and taken care of. I can 100% recommend staying here; the free breakfast is very nice (and the kitchen crew were the BEST!) and the pool small but clean and wonderful. There is a fun recreational room with a pool table room, great BBQ Grills and a laundry room! Everything was up to date and working well, and easy to access. The Hilton brand is very well represented here - thank you for a fantastic stay, Homewood Suites and your wonderful staff!

My family and I stayed here on July 2024. We were very happy with our room, very spacious and clean. Front desk staff were friendly. Breakfast was really good, lots of options. While having breakfast, the manager gave cute balls to kids. That was really nice!! One thing I really liked was their parking, specially the underground height clearance. We were concerned that our Thule cargo box wouldn't fit, but we did not have any trouble parking with the box on top. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Positive: What I liked best about this hotel is how secure it felt. I felt really safe here. The hotel is very clean, and the staff is really nice. The cooks were the best - the breakfast was so delicious, I give it 10 stars! I loved everything about this hotel. Negative: No.

The hotel is excellent, rooms are spacious. There are 2 concerns: the housekeeping is unavailable, we stayed 3 nights and we never got our room cleaned because the housekeeping had to be booked in advance and they were fully booked. the other concern, our rooms lacked sunlight, and were very dark. Other than that, the hotel is quite nice and warm

My daughter has been receiving treatment nearby at Stanford Children’s Hospital, and we have been in and out of hotels all week. Finding this hotel was a bright spot in a very tough week. The rooms are spacious and clean and the common areas are well appointed. But it’s the management team and staff that made ALL the difference. Midwest hospitality in Silicon Valley, thanks to GM Matt and his crew. They went above and beyond to see to our comfort. I cannot thank them enough. All future visits to Palo Alto will include a stay at Homewood Suites.

I arrived at a not so late 8 pm and the front door was already locked. I had to wait at the intercon for several minutes for a receptionist to even let me in. When i got to my room, the ac didn't even have power. I had to find the circuit breaker myself to discover and reset the breaker. The ac then turned on, but did not cool. After waiting an hour no cool air came out and my room was over 80 degrees. I called the front desk for help. At 9pm they claimed there was no maintenance available until the morning. They offered me a box fan to help, which is clearly insufficient at these temperatures. I then asked if they could rebook me. All other rooms had been claimed. I asked if they could book me into another hotel. Their system was unresponsive so they had to manually call other properties. The other hotels wouldn't even answer their phones. Ultimately, I booked a nearby hotel myself at an even higher last minute rate and was offered a full refund. I understand not having on-site maintenance at all hours, but the fact that they don't have a maintenance on call at all is inexcusable for a hotel charging over $400 per night. Roadside motels have better service than this.

Rooms are fine. Full size fridge (that makes a lot of noice), stove and microwave makes it easy to make your own food. Sofa is nice and convenient. Bed seems on the older side. Tv works sometimes. Good gym! Breakfast is ok American breakfast. Receptionist could use energy and customer service skills. I’ve stayed here 3-4 times, but will most likely stay somewhere else next time.

We loved staying here! The front desk staff is always available to help and always with a smile. Rees was excellent with his positive and smiling nature. The cleaning lady Francisca was great too and the breakfast staff provides superior customer service and a great delicious breakfast. Gio was amazing as well and Precy was excellent too!
