Homewood Suites by Hilton Louisville-East - Extended stay hotel in Louisville - 9401 Hurstbourne Trace, USA

Stayed here while visiting family for the holidays. Hotel is clean and very nice, updated, awesome breakfast. Front desk and house keeping staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome! Check in was easy and love that they have option for digital key! Absolutely will stay here again! Thank you all at homewood suites!

I would have given 5 stars but maid service kept trying to enter our room prior to us checking out. Check out is 12 PM at 10:40 AM a maid opened our door saw us and said she would come back. She didn’t knock first or anything then at 11:45 my family left the room and I stayed to use the restroom before checking out and I saw the maid come walking in while in the bathroom. Besides this issue our room was extended clean and our contactless check in and remote key worked flawlessly which was great because we arrived late at night. Remember to lock the secondary lock to keep housekeeping from coming in before you check out.

Full disclosure - have not stayed here yet but did a tour today since thinking of a place for my family to stay in area. The condition of the property was great and last year’s renovations are very tasteful. Love to see bright lighting in rooms for working in them. Additionally, some amenities beyond typical brand - free dinner some nights a week currently + oversized gym & seasonal outdoor pool

This was my first time to stay at a Homewood Suite. This hotel appeared to be fairly new and in a good location downtown. The public areas were very clean and up to date. Our room was a king suite with a king bed and a queen sofa sleeper. The size of the room was adequate for my wife and I and 2 grandkids (8-1/2 and 6). Kitchen area had everything we would need and stocked with supplies. Surprised to see a stove top range and full dishwasher neither of which we used. The location of our room faced the interior courtyard which made it very quiet. ||Loved the location. Only 2 blocks from the Louisville Slugger Museum and close to “museum row”. Several rated restaurants were close by. Felt safe walking but we were not out after 8pm. We took advantage of parking in the garage that was within the same block but not attached to the hotel. The garage allowed in/out privileges. There is a surface lot next to the hotel but it was small and you weren’t guaranteed a parking space. ||Breakfast was good and had a nice variety of choices. Grandkids loved the billiard table in the lobby. We did not use the indoor swimming pool but it was very small. Did not use the workout room which was across the hall from the indoor pool.||The only problem we had was the key card the front desk gave us would not unlock our hotel room. Not only the first key card I was given but every card the front desk gave me would not work. Had front desk, maintenance and housekeeping try to open the door with no luck. The only way they could open the door was with their master key. This was an annoyance and became a joke with the grandkids! Everyone was apologetic for this problem and all were puzzled why the lock wasn’t working properly. ||I would have given this hotel 5 stars except for the issues we had with the door lock. Everyone was very nice.

This hotel was great. The room was extremely clean and had the amenities that would be expected in a nice hotel. The gym was great for a quick workout and the free breakfast is always great. Service was wonderful the people are so nice.

The breakfast was great. Spacious and clean room. Welcoming front desk and great recommendations for dinner. Good location off the road and decent area close by to a lot of things. We enjoyed our stay

Spent a night there, was pleasantly surprised to see the condition of the parking lot, lobby, and immaculate rooms! This Homewood Suites sets the bar that Hilton should strive to follow for this particular brand. If all homewood suites were on this standard, there would be no need to look elsewhere for accommodations. Housekeeping was eager to get to work as we departed promptly at check out, but considering the standards they have I wasn’t surprised.

The staff here are really helpful and friendly. The whole place is clean and well organized. Parking is super easy. The rooms are spacious and nicely designed. It’s not far away from the local malls and restaurants.
