Homewood Suites by Hilton Irvine John Wayne Airport - Extended stay hotel in Irvine - 17370 Red Hill Ave, USA

We stayed at Homewood Suites Irvine for a VERY extended stay (about six months) due to home repairs, and all I can say is I'm SO THANKFUL we found this place! ||First off, the staff is what makes this place really shine. The whole management/front desk team (Cherie, Tom, Caroline, Yazmin, Namiahya, Zainab, Isaac, Brian, William) were always on top of everything, without fail. They were always friendly, professional, helpful, and kind. The maintenance, housekeeping, and kitchen team were always incredibly helpful and kind - they even gave our daughter little toys every now and then, which was so sweet! ||The rooms are clean, comfortable, and all are equipped with a small kitchen (fridge, stove, sink, pots/pans, utensils). The one-bedroom suites feel like a little apartment, we were comfortable enough living here for six months without feeling cramped. ||It's also probably the most ideal location in Orange County. It's five minutes from John Wayne Airport and also the 55 freeway. The beach is about 15 minutes away, 20 minutes to Disneyland, 45 minutes to downtown LA. You have easy access to everything without being in the congested parts of town. ||We stayed at a few other hotels during this period of home renovation (The Viv, The Element, Residence Inn, etc.), and while they were good, none were as comfortable and welcoming as Homewood Suites. They hold themselves to a higher standard, and it shows. It's what makes staying here feel like the next best thing to being home!

We had a great experience for our first stay at this Homewood Suites. Easy check in and was greeted by friendly staff. Had an issue with the A/C. When we came back from a store on the first day it quit working. I called and they quickly sent maintenance to assess the situation. He determined it needed replaced and he called the front desk and asked them to find another room. New cards were delivered to us while we finished our meal. The new room was just a few rooms over which was convenient. Any requests were quickly answered or acted upon. Excellent customer service. Clean rooms. Nice lobby. I would stay here again.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful place and the phenomenal staff. My family (a teen and two pets included) were relocated from our apartment for approximately 16 days while it underwent significant repairs. We were in a situation in which we needed to find a place for our family to live asap and were feeling understandably stressed. From the moment we called Homewood Suites, we were treated with the utmost care, empathy, patience, and respect while they responded to our queries and questions, and ultimately did everything in their power to meet our needs in a timely manner. The bedroom suite itself was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The kitchenette (with a full-size fridge!) was well-stocked with dishes, cups, utensils, pots, pans, and more, with ample cabinet space for us to use. It was clear that Hilton had |spent a great deal of effort toward making this suite feel like a home away from home. ||The most meaningful and memorable part of our experience, however, was definitely the management and staff. Every time we walked down the hallways and passed a member of the staff, we were always greeted with a smile and a hello- and it felt genuine rather than enforced. Our housekeeping staff was amazing. Every other day and Saturdays at whichever time worked for us, a member of housekeeping staff would arrive. they were efficient yet careful and thorough. Towels and kitchenette items were always replaced, the room was vacuumed and cleaned, the dishes were washed, and more. They always provided ample extra towels etc in between housekeeping service when we asked for them. They worked around my husband and I as we worked from home (from hotel during our stay!). ||While I appreciated all housekeeping staff, I would like to specifically recognize Elizabeth, she was truly phenomenal. she came by several times, and was incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating. We had a nice talk about our animals as she worked, and she had no problem at all wearing a medical mask as I am immune deficient. She was great with my protective dog, taking a moment to get to know him, and he loved her. She just had this energy and light about her that made me feel warm, accepted, and cared for. Elizabeth, thank you and we appreciate you!!||I would also like to give a huge shout out to the managers. At one point we had to evacuate our rooms due to an electrical incident (not due to the hotel but rather a guest). Everything went smoothly, and one of the managers personally came up to us, apologized (totally ok, I was glad to see that they are responsive in emergency situations and that the system works!) and even comped our room cost for the day. |My family and I were especially thankful for Caroline, another manager. She went absolutely above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel at home. When we had to extend our move-out date with very little notice - twice, as a result of last-minute communication by our renters which could have left us without a place to stay- she worked her magic and took care of us. At one point my husband rushed down to the front desk at just about 5 to let them know the situation we were in and even though she was literally on her way out for the day, she recognized my exasperated husband, turned around, talked with him, and let him know that she would take care of everything. And she did. Icing on the cake was how she made friends with our dog and even gave him a little treat. She is the best.||I could go on and on. We are so grateful to Hilton for its hospitality and support during a very difficult time for our family. Thank you!

Our stay surpassed our expectations! In a pretty reasonable price range, we chose the hotel mostly because of positive reviews, and here we are writing one more! ||Everything felt clean and relatively new, the service staff was friendly all around, and the level of “playtime” amenities was surprising: pool, basketball court, ping pong table, pool table, corn hole and much more. My wife and I played a casual game of ping pong (good quality racquets too!) as the sun was setting which was a great moment. ||The location was convenient, very close to the airport and restaurants. The bed was clean and comfortable. Good shower pressure. The breakfast buffet was the only thing that wasn’t amazing; it was just what you’d expect at this kind of hotel and no more: waffle station, bagels, lots of sugary cereals and so forth. Good for kids and such but not really my kind of breakfast. ||Anyway, in summary, this was a great stay that provided excellent value for the money, especially if you were to come with kids but also was nice for us (a couple).

We stayed here before we spent a couple nights at a hotel closer to Disneyland and then returned for another few nights after Disneyland. On a future Disney trip, we would stay here over being closer to Disneyland as it was half the cost and honestly a more comfortable stay and is only a 15 minute drive to Disneyland. Family friendly hotel that is super clean, quiet (can barely hear air traffic flying right over) and comfortable. We will stay here again when back in the area!

My kids love this hotel. It was better than we expected. The staff is amazing and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was enjoyable and had a good selection. Excellent housekeeping service. We have service 3 days per week and we really appreciate the housekeeper Paulina and the rest of the housekeeping team for the cleanliness of our room. I want to thank the entire staff for an enjoyable stay and excellent service. Would definitely recommend.

Very Clean property & the NICEST Front Desk staff.! I accidentally put in the reservation here on my Hilton App…. BEST mistake that I could have done😂!! The warm buffet style breakfast is GREAT! Close to John Wayne Airport. Farmer Boys shares the parking area for good food. Close to everything to see. It took me 24 minutes to get to the Disney Parks

Our stay was for 13 days, check in was so easy and all of the front desk staff were so helpful, cheerful and eager to help. Caroline was so nice to our dog Macey and you could tell she loved animals.||The suite was very comfortable and very clean, if we needed anything we just asked the front desk and within 5 minutes someone came to our room. Very thorough housekeeping and greeted us every morning and smiled.||Shout out to JOSE head of housekeeping, you could tell he enjoyed his job so much. Every morning around 6 am he was starting his shift he was raring to go! Always good morning, how are you and have a nice day.
