Homewood Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Carmel - Extended stay hotel in Carmel - 11355 N Meridian St, USA

We just discovered this hotel recently. We go down to see our children in the Indianapolis area a few times a year and need a nice place to stay. Their sweets are spacious and reasonably priced. They come with a full kitchenette. The beds were comfortable. Their complimentary breakfast is definitely one of the best we have experienced. Many good options. And everything tasted wonderful! They have a nice little fitness center and an indoor outdoor pool with a hot tub. The water in the hot tub could be warmer though.

It was a very nice place. Just a few things to keep it from being five stars. Positive: Staff were very friendly and a check in was extremely easy. We got an electronic key so we really just could arrive check in remotely and head right to the room! The shower head and the controls were on opposite ends of the shower, which is unusual but really made it much better when you wanted to turn on the water or adjust it once you were in the shower. The rooms themselves were great! We had a little kitchenette, a full sized refrigerator, and a lot of room to lounge about. The bed was very comfortable and I was pleased to find a Gideon's Bible in the drawer! Many hotels don't carry these anymore. Not so positive: Breakfast was just okay. Some of the items like the eggs and sausage were cold when we came down which was surprising since their supposed to be heated. The shower door was extremely difficult to get closed, which could be a problem if you weren't strong enough to get it closed. Not a huge thing, but the windows were filthy and could use a good washing!

Nice suites, very roomy (600 sq. Ft and some are larger), comfy beds and linens. ( includes a kitchenette with mico, refrig, stove, toaster, etc.). The hotel is not new, but all rooms and furnishings clean and nice. Customer service at the desk, exceptional. Pool, jacuzzi and work out room a plus. Coffee in lobby 24hrs was a nice touch! The breakfasts in the morning was better than most, many choices... and entrees changed daily. They even had almond milk, rice, seaweed and kimichi for those that like that. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall a decent hotel. Nice kitchen area, very spacious room. The bathroom was not as clean, hair on the floor, dirty baseboards. Hotel bed was not very comfortable. Decent complimentary breakfast. FYI - we stayed in a room next to an employee/staff room, and there also was an employee lounge or something similar underneath our room. We heard music for hours throughout the night.

I think they were overwhelmed by the volume of guests for the FFA Convention, but I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. It was really filthy. I suspect it was a mothballed room that didn't get a proper cleaning before I checked in. While they attempted to rectify the situation, my floor remained unvacuumed and full of pet hair, crumbs and debris. On the plus side, breakfast was good. Staff was welcoming. I don't think I would stay here again. I ended up cleaning the room myself with whatever I could find. I have never been so disappointed with a Hilton stay.

The cleanliness was just awful. stains on the bed. Pubic hair all over the shower and floor in the bathroom. urine all on the toilet seat. the smell was musty. the Refridgerator had food dried ups on it. it was just plain nasty. I should not have to call the front desk to ask to come clean. there were children all hours of the night running up and down the hallways banging on guest room doors. both nights. Parents and hotel staff did nothing

I enjoyed my stay here. Guest services were very welcoming, complimentary breakfast was enjoyable, however there was a lack of meats for guest to choose from. The room was comfortable and clean. Linen was clean and everything in the suite worked properly. Nothing was horrible or bad.

Stayed 6 nights while relocating to Carmel. Outstanding accommodations. Clean room, large, great working space, plenty of outlets and fast internet. Matt, the evening manager and Liv at the front desk were just wonderful. This was a great representation of the Hilton brand!
