Homewood Suites by Hilton Huntsville Downtown - Extended stay hotel in Huntsville - 714 Gallatin St SW, USA

Absolutely perfect for long-term stay. The rooms are fitted with half kitchen and large bathroom. Excellent service. Downtown is roughly walkable. Not built for short-term stays though. Lackluster fitness centre.

My wife and I stayed for two nights. We have stayed at this hotel several times before, but it has been a few years.|Our room was clean and comfortable and having the kitchen was very useful to cook some of our own meals. The hotel is next to a Publix grocery store and several niche restaurants.|The hotel breakfast receives a below average rating - processed eggs; and the gravy for the biscuits is a crime for a southern hotel- surprising for $300/night.

The people are very nice. The handicap room is large and very easy to get around. The bathroom is very large also and if you use a wheelchair, it is very easy to get in and out of the shower. I have a hard time walking and trying not to fall and wish there could be a lot more handicap parking close to the door instead of just two. I've enjoyed my stay very much.

My stay at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in downtown Huntsville, Alabama was fantastic. The suite we stayed in was incredibly spacious, and the bed was not only comfortable but also clean. The complimentary breakfast they offered was quite good, and we appreciated the gesture of complimentary water bottles. The staff members were friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a positive experience for us.

The room itself was excellent -- bed and pillows were very comfortable. Having a ceiling fan above the bed was awesome! BUT -- the heat/air unit in the room kept me awake most of the night. I like having a breakfast bar at any hotel BUT -- all the egg omelets had CHEESE on them! WHY why why? I asked if I could get eggs without cheese and was told NO.

Do not book here. -Not honest*** I travel a ton for work and stay primarily at Hilton’s as I am a long stand diamond status, I stayed here and had issues. I checked out at 9am and ran into the cleaning lady which she asked if I was checking out. As this is common I told her yes. She was a young Hispanic girl wear pink scrubs and glasses. By the time I got to the airport at 2pm I realized I left my prescription Versace glasses. (They were new so I’m not used to wearing them and only wear them for reading) I immediately contacted the front desk and said no one turned any in. 10min later the manager called and said that he checked the room and couldn’t find any and the cleaning department said they never seen any glasses. As I know exactly where I left them, this is unacceptable as in a matter of 6hrs they were stolen. All he said was he understands my accusations. I contact Hilton corporate with a generic email regarding a case number with absolutely no follow ups on their part. Super disappointed in their customer service or even the blaring obvious of the situation. Will be switching to Marriott here on out. Seriously, who steals prescription glasses???? Saddens me that they hire thieves.

The room has a great setup but my only problem was that the mattress for the pull out sofa was horribly dirty as well as the couch and chair. The mattress on the king sized bed was not very comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good but I personally only had the waffles which had a great flavor. All in all I would have to give them 3 and half stars.
