Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston Near the Galleria - Extended stay hotel in Houston - 2950 Sage Rd, USA

I wouldn't suggest this hotel. One of the two elevators was broken for most of our stay. Breakfast did not offer a single vegetable which I really found add, for the fruit - watermelon was cut hours before that was sitting there the whole morning and was not the best. Great location but for the area I would not go back to this hotel. There are other options that are in the area that are better for the same price. At check out when I asked for print out - I was told that the printer is printing something and they could not do it. It was 4 am, but either way I really have no idea what we paid.

The front desk people were awesome. The room I had smelled like dirty diapers and the hot water stopped working after 10:00 a.m. The housekeeping never came and I stayed 2 nights, I had to go to the front desk for towels and the only ice machine is on the 11th floor. The pool was dirty and the breakfast was okay.

Decent hotel, but I would not recommend. Furniture and carpet feels dated, and not very clean. Hotel staff was very rude multiple times. During check in, I asked to add my Hilton honors number, and employee was hesitant and reluctant to add. Add check out, they had extra charges on the account. Instead of helping me, they told me I will need to call to have it removed. Throughout the stay, employees were not friendly. Nobody asked how the room was.. but I told desk agent our issues: - AC did not work correctly. It was either on and freezing or off, you could not change the temperature. Submitted this on the app during stay and it was not addressed - couch was so worn that middle sagged. - lamp didn’t work I am usually loyal to Hilton, but checked out here to move to a Marriott brand. Only good part here is Galleria location if that is what you’re looking for.

The hotel is good and comfortable, with large and spacious rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, I do have one suggestion: the elevator needs maintenance. Only one elevator is operational, and it takes ages to come down, often around 10 to 15 minutes. This can be quite frustrating if you're in a hurry.

Great location for our needs. Very good pricing. People were wonderful to work with and very accommodating. We stayed in a two bedroom, two bath suite. Very clean. It had everything we needed for our limited stay. The included breakfast was very good. The room was very nice and comfortable but it is nearing the point where it will need some updating in the near future. Would recommend.

The hotel was good but the breakfast in the morning sucked it was good on the very first morning after that it got so shitty that scrambled eggs with all them. Purple taste better besides that the staff was amazing easy-going, and extremely friendly would definitely recommend to stay there again.

Managers at this hotel are completely useless. Did not introduce one single thing about this hotel and don't pick up the phone when you call the front desk (even though they are scrolling on their phones when you go down in person). |Worst of all, they didn't tell us that the parking for one night was $25, which I would think is a pretty steep price and needs to be explained in advance. No friendly explanations about their facilities or anything. Gives you a flat-eyed stare if you need anything. Put me on hold and never called me back.||Also, don't expect the breakfast that's in all the photos. This breakfast is neither better nor worse than any other hotel in the area that offers breakfast. Hash browns, scrambled eggs, and sausage patties are the hot plates. There's no salad bar and the waffle making facilities have been non-functioning for a while now.||Everyone in my family agrees that we will never be coming back to this hotel.

****Update 7/8/24. Homewood suites refunded our one night charge in response to our feedback. We appreciate their quick response to our concerns from our stay.**** We had booked 2 nights with the 2 bedroom suite. The rooms were very dated and are in need of major maintenance and upgrading. The ceiling fan made a loud clicking noise which was so distracting we had to turn it off. But then the room was stuffy with no air circulation. When the A/C turned on, it sounded like metal was bouncing around behind the wall. These did not make for a good nights sleep. We asked to check out the next morning because it was not worth the cost of staying another night. We moved nearby to a Marriott property. For the amount of money we spent for 1 night, it was not worth it at all. The front desk was also not very friendly or welcoming. The best thing about this hotel is its location, as it is right next to the galleria.
