Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston/Katy Mills Mall - Extended stay hotel in Katy - 25495 Katy Mills Pkwy, USA

Very new building and the only hotel I have ever seen that did not have stains in the corridor carpeting. Cleaning staff was exceptionally friendly and room was very, very, clean - including the kitchenette. The property itself does not seem well tended. One elevator had an "out of service" sign for our entire stay. The second, adjoining, elevator had broken first/main floor button. Only when an employee stepped in and showed us the trick to making it work (sign had arrow showing it was broken, but not instructions on how to make it operate), did 8 people get to go to their floors. (Yes, stairwell works, but an elevator is a nice luxury when you are toting luggage and groceries.) Breakfast buffet had the usual stale, non-healthy, choices but the one healthy option, oatmeal, was sitting "cooked" (or so it appeared), in an unplugged cooker, for two days in a row. Cold milk not available or seen. Also, the waffle maker had a line of A DOZEN people waiting to use it. If this is the #1 choice of patrons (as it appeared to be), for gosh sakes, find a manager who can get on-line, make a managerial decision, and order a second one! There was trash in the lot, plants that needed tending by the entry doors, just those things that a sharp management team notices and addresses ASAP.

I had a trip planned t see a customer in Katy, Tx with meetings all afternoon. Unfortunately I had a vehicle malfunction and was short by 100 miles making my appointment. I had to cancel my room and it was not 24 hours prior. The manager made an exception to my situation and cancelled my reservation on late notice. This is customer Service at its best. As I always have experienced nothing but the best from Hilton hotels, this one is my favorites. Thank you.

Older hotel, room itself was fine. However, the front desk clerk made it clear it was a job to him and that’s it. The employees running the breakfast were not personable and preferred to stay in the back instead of making sure all was well out front. The Mexican bar was delicious on a positive note.

We had a great stay at this place. The breakfast was fantastic, the rooms were clean and tidy. The kitchen had sufficient dinnerware and cookware. Pet friendly place. The only slightly negative is the pet deposit of 75 bucks.

The front desk people were great, The breakfast boring and stale. After speaking with the GM, I want to take a second to thank Morgan, I’ve never seen a team step up as much as you did. Thank you for actually taking the consideration of my comments. Your team rocks, look forward to our stay today again.

Nice Hilton property. Staff nice. Used translator to ask questions. Jaylon at front desk was very nice and helpful. Ladies in breakfast area was nice and on top to keep everything full and clean. Could use an update for the rooms and halls to rooms. Some places in the hall carpet have ruts and not smooth.

This hotel is great. It’s located in a great area and super close to lots of food and shopping options. Everyone has been super nice and helpful. Huge shoutout to Isabela at the front desk for going above and beyond! Definitely 10/10 would recommend staying here!

Stayed at this hotel on business. Rooms are well appointed and the hotel is clean. Breakfast is one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. Check-in/out process was quick and front desk staff were very nice.
