Homewood Suites by Hilton Fort Collins - Extended stay hotel in Fort Collins - 1521 Oakridge Dr, USA

Reading some of the other reviews, I wonder if we were at the same hotel. We have stayed here many times, and our rooms have always been very clean and well-maintained. The game room and guest laundry are both great. The staff is accommodating and helpful. My only issues have been with other guests smoking in a non-smoking hotel...but that happens everywhere, unfortunately. This place seems to draw a lot of families, and it's a nice option for people traveling with kids because of the game room and sport court.

We had a 2 bedroom suite with living area, which was great for a family with older kids. Everything was clean and very well stocked (including the kitchen area) which is really appreciated. Breakfast was good and kept refilled and clean. Staff at the front were helpful and nice. Overall a great stay.

Staff was very welcoming. Dillon went above and beyond to accommodate me and my family!!! I had 3 rooms, they were clean and cozy!! Thanks for the amazing service!! Breakfast was good, but a little cold. Facility was clean, and tidy. We will definitely be back!

While the property is older, it has been well maintained and updated. We experienced an issue with the A/C in the first room and Skylar at the front desk was very accommodating and moved us to a new room after the attempt to fix the A/C in the first room was unsuccessful. She made sure the temp in the new room was good and then checked with us during our stay to ensure we were satisfied. Room was clean and spacious too!

Overall the room was okay. It was quiet and a good temp. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is in a good spot. |In spite of multiplier notices that my electronic key was ready to use, it never did work. We had to go to the front desk to get regular keys. |Then there is the shower. It took several minutes to get warm water on the highest setting. Eventually it did get warm enough to be tolerable, but I wouldn't call it hot. And the shower doors had no rollers. So we had to just lift them and wiggle them open and closed. |Maybe it was just our room, but we were are leaving disappointed. |Next time we'll try a different hotel in Ft. Collins. There are lots of options.

Our room was so disgusting and dirty. I will never stay here again. The room smelled. The shower curtain was ripped. Bathroom sink was clogged. Room was not vacuumed. There was cat food on the carpet and cat toys. The table in the living room was about ready to fall over. Stains on the couch and carpet. NASTY!!!!

I had stayed here before and had great experiences, which is why I chose this hotel over more cost effective options. When I arrived, my room was changed without notification. The door handle did not work properly. There were pubic hairs left in the shower. The room smelled funny, couch was stained. The outlet in the bathroom did not work and when maintenance came they did not bring the replacement outlet, which I told them they would need. There was obvious water damage and discoloration to the ceiling in the bathroom. Staff was not very helpful with any of this and did not offer any real solutions. I finally asked for a discount and I was told points would be added to my account and they have yet to be added. This will not be at the top of my list in the are again.

We checked in and they gave us a room with a broken air conditioner and just a vented small machine. I had reservations for six months and was Honors member. We told them this was not going to work for us they said they had no other rooms. During the middle of the night we asked to move again and the night manager Elliot worked until he found us a different room and was very kind, even went to the room himself to be sure it was cool enough. The day people could take some lessons from him.
