Honestly would not recommend staying here until they finish renovations (end of May). Rooms are literally falling apart, and are very dated. I won't go into this, because they are renovating and hopefully will be much nicer when everything is finished. Parking is also space due to the shipping containers taking up much of the parking. Additionally, the WiFi is 5 mbps max, with no higher speed option. It was almost impossible to get work done here. If you're planning to get work done in the room, I'd choose another place. That slow of speed is unacceptable in today's world for a modern hotel under the Hilton name. Overall not a great experience. I had a 2+ week stay planned here and checked out after just 2 days. I will give a shout-out to the front desk staff. They were accommodating, and didn't give any hassle with wanting to checkout early.
I was apprehensive about this hotel after reading some of the reviews but everything was great. We got there a little early so our room wasn't ready. They gave us a similar room on the same floor so we could get settled sooner. The room was a good size, clean, and the king bed was comfortable. The kids slept on the sofa bed which had seen better days. Both kids were uncomfortable. We stayed four nights. Complimentary breakfast was good and the managers reception Wednesday evening was very nice. The hotel is in a great location, close to lots of restaurants and i25. Overall, I was pleased with what we got for the money.
Very nice rooms with comfortable beds and comfortable pillows. The suites are very nice, roomy and worth the cost. The breakfast is better than your average hotel fare. Night clerk was helpful and energetic. Only complaint is that when you have a sleeper sofa in the room you really should have the bedding in the closet so your guests don't have to go to the front desk and carry it all up since your clerk is alone and can't leave the front desk.
I was pleased to find this on the Hilton app for only $130 all in. However, once we entered the hotel, it became obvious why the price was so low. For starters, the lobby was locked, and you either needed to have a key card, or ring the bell to have someone let you in. Not very welcoming. Next, the layout of the building was super confusing, and just like the rest of Colorado Springs, signage is minimal, non-existent, or so poorly located that you feel like you're in an escape room. Lastly, I finally found my way through the maze and got to my room, which was, by any Hilton standards as well as my own; quite outdated, in poor repair, and was rather dirty. - the doorways were beat up with signs of multiple different generations of failed locks. - there was a fridge, which sounded like a ventilation fan constantly running. - the living room furnishings were badly stained. - the beds were comfortable ,but squeaky. - (this is the one that really got me) 🤢 there was, what looked like, poo splatter on the wall beside the toilet. - breakfast was way subpar for a Hilton... more reminiscent of a Super 8, consisting of reconstituted egg and individually packaged pastries. I'm normally pretty forgiving when it comes to businesses, since I run one myself, but for this Homewood Suites to be allowed to operate under the Hilton name is quite deceiving. My recommendation is to spend the extra $35 - $50 and get the Home2 or Hilton Garden down the road.
The assistant manager with the shaved head is completely unprofessional. She was condescendingly spelling out Colorado on the phone to an elderly man. I was a receptionist for 4.5 years. I would NEVER speak to someone on the phone like that. Just shameful. Almost like she thought she was being cool or something? Also, the rooms have roaches. The coffee tastes like straight cardboard. The back door wouldn’t let us in with our keycard our second day so my husband had to run all the way around the hotel while me, our 3 year old and 11 month old had to wait in the freezing cold. Also, they wouldn’t give us a late check out even though the receptionist said “I don’t see why that would be a problem, we have 20 rooms”. When the assistant manager hung up the phone with the elderly man she said “No, we need the room”. We are also diamond members so they don’t care about customer service at all it seems. Oh yeah, I asked for a trash bag yesterday too and the lady was clearly annoyed she had to go out of her way to help me. If you’re going to work in costumer service, at least smile at the customers. You never know what someone is going through.
Clean, comfortable rooms with spectacular views. Most friendly and helpful staff from desk to cleaning crew. Breakfast was always hot and delicious. After a long day of sightseeing it was so relaxing to come home to a quiet Suite. One of the best hotels I have been in that treats you like an honored guest.
ROACHES!!!! There were roaches in our room…… Spider webs on the ceiling fan…. Firstly, we’re Diamond members. We stay all over the country, very consistently. There are 20 available rooms and they won’t give a late checkout. Definitely skip this one, the one south of town gave us a late checkout, no problem. I believe the ASM? She was degrading someone on the phone while we were standing there talking to them like they were stupid. Very unprofessional for “management”. There was hair in your eggs for breakfast, offering waffles but no syrup? Coffee is terrible. People smoking in their rooms on the first floor? Definitely will not be staying here again. Sidenote, the normal staff at the desk was incredibly helpful during our stay, I overheard the manager just came back from being off work from the past few days, and obviously loves telling diamond members no? And before you respond, telling me to waste my time calling your team, don’t bother. I asked for a 30 minute late checkout, no reason you can’t accommodate having an additional 20 rooms available.
The hotel is in a good location. The hotel met all our needs. Clean, comfortable, quiet, nice breakfast, plenty of parking. The extra space of the two room suite gave us a chance to settle in after traveling all day. No complaints

We lived at the American Home suites extended stay motel for 3 months this year while waiting to move. Sandy and her son Joeseph run the motel and are such friendly people. Our pet rabbits were allowed to stay with us and loved getting to run around
My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didnât get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
