Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown West Loop - Featured Reviews (658)
We had a really nice stay at this Homewood Suites. The staff everywhere is super friendly. The hotel is very clean. We had a corner suite on the 20th floor. Nice size room with full size fridge and kitchenette. The couch and bedspread could be updated but overall, clean, quiet, and good location! There is a help yourself tap wall for local beer and wine-Fulton Bar, that you load $ on a keycard to access. Take your glass to the 5th floor’s outdoor sitting area and enjoy. Would def stay here again.
Very nice stay in this hotel. Rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Very little noise in the hotel||Breakfast was ok, good selection to choose from. ||The location is very close to the city, so this is made it excellent for our stay.
Perfect location in the heart of West Loop. Most rooms have a great view of the city, and the space is well kept. I loved having a full fridge and kitchen in the room. They offer a delicious breakfast, an evening reception, and the building is easy to navigate.
Overall this is a decent, centrally located option. Lots of food options nearby but make sure you're checking the hours. There were a few places we were surprised to see closed before 8pm on Fri & Sat. Short distance to the trains, which was nice, as well as other attractions. Nice outdoor patio space, but did not cordon off a smoking section which was disappointing given its size. The indoor pool was high-traffic and usually had tons of kids/teens, so we mostly steered clear. The layout is a little weird since it's two hotels smashed together, but we were in the "main" building so it wasn't much of a hardship. They lost a star because of some nonsense we had to deal with during check in. I had booked the room under my information but my roommate arrived first. Her App Key wasn't working so she had to visit the front desk, where they insisted that she put her own card on file (even though mine was already there). Luckily the front desk staff made the process of switching everything back fairly smooth, but the additional stress of the situation put on my friend really seemed unnecessary.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Hilton Homewood in West Loop. Our room was on the 18th floor with a city view, so nothing to complain about there. The room was clean, and offered a kitchen (with a full size fridge), a sofa with a pull-out mattress, and a king bed. My/our only complaint about the room itself is that the furniture needed some updating - the sofa looked a little drab and dingy, and the mattress could have been a lot comfier. I slept well enough, but I expected a better mattress at a Hilton. Outside the room, amenities included daily complementary breakfast, the Fulton Tap, a swimming pool, a laundry room, and a fitness center. It was really nice to stay at a place which serves a real, hot breakfast every morning - one of the key selling points for us. The downside is the lack of rotating menu. Other than Saturday, they served the same meal options (scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, sausage link or patty, oatmeal, waffles, fresh fruit) every day. Given that we stayed for a whole week, it was a bummer to eat the same things every day. I was so happy (and surprised) when they FINALLY served biscuits and gravy on our last day there. The Fulton Tap was cool and we did use it. We used the pool a few times. The pool is on the smaller side and is only a little more than 3 feet deep all the way around, but it kept the kiddo happy. I didn’t use the fitness center as I’d intended to, but they had some nice equipment, including a Peloton bike! As far as the neighborhood, it was a great place to stay for a few days. If you are staying more than 3-4 days (like a week or more), I’d recommend splitting your trip up between different neighborhoods. West Loop is cool and has lots of great restaurants nearby, but it’s easy to explore within a few days and want more options. Also, if coffee is important to you, the coffee shop options in/near West Loop are pretty abysmal. Sorry, but Sawada is not good. This trip was important to us because we are debating between becoming members of Hilton or Marriott. They are both good, but so far my stays at Marriott have been better - they are winning with better breakfast and updated/comfy furniture. We’ll need one more stay at a different location to finalize our decision.
Among the tall buildings and beautiful landscape of Chicago is the Homewood suites by Hilton in the West Loop! This is truly a five star hotel. It's not too far from any place within the downtown area. Restaurants are nearby, the Willis Tower is a couple blocks away, and you can catch a Uber/Lyft anywhere in the city. Accommodations are gorgeous, perfectly accentuating the essence of Chicago with the Hilton signature of its rooms and relaxation. The sights never get old looking through the hotel room windows, walking around the local area, or taking a drive around town! This hotel is perfectly fit for your stay! Me and my wife loved it for business trip. Top notch and beautiful decor! I definitely want to stay here again!
Great experience. Great views. Great staff! Our stay was perfect and the views of the room were amazing. This hotel sits just on the outskirts of the loop hustle and bustle so it was perfect for us. We took Amtrak into the city and was able to walk to our hotel. A short Uber ride placed us right in the heart of the city. We will absolutely be back!
My husband has stayed at this location for work and I have joined him several times in the past and liked it very much. Because he is a “Diamond Member” we had a free room available to us and we chose this location. The instructions sent were that I would be the one checking in. However, the manager told me that was not possible without my husband. This has never happened to us before. Other customers near me said to mobile check in and it would not be an issue. The manager overhearing our conversation, said my husband would have come to the desk even if was midnight, and if I mobile checked in, he would cancel our reservation. I think that he may have enjoyed bullying an older woman, or he was just showing off to the other employees. Even the other customers felt badly for me, and told me so.||Naturally I left felling very embarrassed, and had to go home. We have been Diamond Members for a long time, but we are now cancelling our Hilton American Express card, and going elsewhere. One bad employee can undo years of loyalty.

In Chicago and stopped by this place. Grand opening for them. Wonderful people with a great spirit overall. Had a chance to dive into the whole thing of coffee coming from Ethiopia after meeting their African-American roaster of coffee. Lovely time -
I'm writing this review after taking a full year of classes at Vibez. Initially, I bought class packs and then signed up for the monthly membership (8 classes a month) once I knew it was a good fit. Over the course of 2023, I lost more than 20 pounds

This apartment was a great find for us. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and had plenty of space to fit us all comfortably. Importantly for our group the kitchen is well equipped - there have been many places we've stayed where there aren't enough bowls an

We love Cafe Calida so much. We came here our last two mornings of our trip and regretted not coming earlier. Great menu with delicious pastries. My husband got a mocha and I got a Chai latte and they were both so delicious. Our first morning we came
Pizza was great. I love this style of pizza. Itâs a great place for a low key date night. Prices were extremely reasonable, especially for the quality. It is a family run business, the family has 2 generations of pizza making experience. Itâs a s
