Room floors were hairier than an Italian mob bosses chest. I asked the front desk to have it cleaned up twice but the floor remained fuzzed for the duration of my stay. Also all soap, shampoo, and conditioner were empty on my arrival. Gym was decent and the included breakfast tasty enough. Location is close to the highway but not near a single restaurant that would be walkable. Overall, decent but cleanliness and location left a lot to be desired.
I stayed at this hotel for over 5 months and got to know it quite well. The front desk associates Andrea and Rehan were both great. They knew me by name and were welcoming by always smiling and saying hello. Moreover, they were always happy to help me with things even if the request was a little peculiar (my client had very specific invoicing requirements). The hotel is newer and nicely decorated. Nice patio/pool area for get-togethers. There are some good running/walking paths nearby. Cons: I was bummed they got rid of the waffle machine. There aren’t a lot of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. For some reason, they are missing 30 lbs. dumbbells in their exercise room, but have two sets of 75 lbs dumbbells.
My absolute favorite hotel in this area. Great home away from home especially for working. The pool and jacuzzi are always clean and it’s indoor. Andrea at the front desk is amazing very friendly and professional.
First issue was stained carpets. Rooms should be presentable and clean. Second issue, we discovered after day three, is you have to request housekeeping, and at that point they have 24 hours to respond. The trash cans are too small for a family of three. Third, I believe they are keeping horses above our room, as there is constant stomping and running. Fourth, as someone else mentioned, you do hear a lot of noise from the 101 north depending on your room location. Fifth, the road in front of the hotel is awful. There are patch jobs on top of patches. Sixth, the parking is for only compact cars. Even in a ford explore, the parking was very tight.
Our family stayed here for a two day volleyball tournament! Great location and close to stores and restaurants. Our drive to the San Mateo Event Center was a 5 minute drive. The rooms were very spacious and comfy beds to sleep. The kitchen was a big help to our stay. The swimming pool and porch area was a very nice touch for our team to BBQ and hang out.
So... the location is good! Ok, that's out of the way.. the room is cool, has a wired internet connection which is a massive win. But uh.. the room ceiling fan seems to also be wired to another room, so that was fun. Housekeeping service hasn't happened once. The breakfast wasn't served one of the days. They got a pretty decent lay out for the food for it being pretty bland. Several times the front desk just went missing for almost an hour. It isn't likely to be a place ill ever stay at again The last thing was the room being booked from under me. I had been there over a month, someone misplaced a number and I had to scramble to get my belongings packed and out or face fines cause they booked the room from under me. Wild. The whole experience is just.. wow
Really love this hotel. Quiet and Newly constructed, nice and laidback staff. Rooms is immaculate and makes me feel like I’m home . Also lots of walking trails filled with nature in surrounding area and hotel has nice outdoor terrace. Worth every penny!
I stayed here twice, 2 weeks and 5 weeks due to visiting family within 6 months. Front desk does not tell you house keeping is only upon request. The bathroom mirror says every other day, not true. Shower is weak. Glad it has laundry. Again, they don't tell you where if you don't ask. They don't give you fish washing detergent if you don't ask. Towels at the pool does not get filled daily. Get it at the front desk before you go. Internet is unstable for a few days, front desk tells you to call the help desk. Then helpdesk tell me to turn off VPN so they can give me free wifi. No security no thanks. When there is no breakfast, they don't always have a sign up. Housekeeping standard is low. They do not clean stove top or mirror unless you tell them to. That's hit or miss even if I note it on my request and requested the front desk to let management know. You ask...why do you stay here? Location, the pool, Hilton gold member. I do what make sense to be close to family. I would have stay at Marriott brand if residents inn has an indoor pool for the kids.
Great stay for 21 nights in December 2023. The hotel staff are very attentive, helpful, and friendly. Grab and go breakfast items, along with coffee, is available in the lobby each morning. My room was spacious and well-appointed, with a kitchenette
I have been attending Origin going on 5 months, and not only do I see a change in how I feel day to day, the waistline keeps dropping and I'm able to put up really good numbers in my lifts! This powerlifting focused gym really believes in the power o
I just happened to be in the area for work and checked Google Maps for good places to eat and this place was rated the highest seemed the best and boy was I right. I had the spitfire beef and lamb rice plate and it was all delicious. The side salad
Lovely local cafe with a great variety of choices! We had salmon benedict, florentine crepe and butternut squash soup, and they are all very tasty. Interior is very clean and cozy.
Decided to have dinner here as it was near our hotel. Saw that it has overall great reviews from google. First of all, the owner is not Japanese but they spoke cantonese which really does not matter as long as the food was good. The same with this on
Comfortable atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. Good size portions especially the wraps - the beef/lamb gyro was seasoned perfectly. The lamp chops were also seasoned well and grilled to perfection. They have alcohol, beer & wine in addi
Nice hidden little park. Small grass field, tennis court, half basket ball court, hand ball wall and a play area equipped with play structure built in wood chips. On the far end there is a picnic area. In between the picnic area and the half court
