Homewood Suites by Hilton Alexandria/Pentagon South, VA - Extended stay hotel in Alexandria - 4850 Leesburg Pike, USA

Great location near the highway, shopping, and restaurants. Hotel staff was friendly and extremely attentive and helpful. My room was clean and well stocked. I also liked the free breakfast. There was something for everyone. The only thing is that I think the hotel needs sprucing up a bit. The carpet in my room was stained in several places and there was crayon markings on the wall and sink area (I could tell housekeeping tried to scrape it off). Overall, don't hesitate to stay here, it is a wonderful, quiet, and convenient hotel. Most importantly, the staff made our stay worth while. Hospitality was top-notch! I'll be back.

Noisy @ night .... Pls don't take rooms with windows to patio...Too noisy esp around midnight. Also some kind of bugs on bed/comforter... something bit us during our stay there.(couldn't see anything pointing towards bedbugs though). Breakfast was good on all days, the staff were very welcoming & friendly. Hot beverages are available throughout.

I LOVED this hotel. I lived here very comfortably for over 2 months and was treated so kindly by everyone on staff. The folks at the front desk especially really made me feel at home. Thank you! HIGHLY recommend.

A wonderful place to stay only 15 minutes from DC. Very spacious room that fit us all comfortably. Hands down one of my favorite breakfasts ever in a hotel as they had breakfast burrito fixings of scrambled eggs, has browns, pulled pork, jalapeno, cheese, and a taco crema as options. They have an outdoor pool which was unfortunately closed by the time we arrived. We hit the streets of downtown that night with ease due to our location. Plenty of free on-site parking as well. Would recommend to anyone!

I do not understand how this hotel gets good ratings. It was a poor Motel 6 at best. I paid over $250.00 dollars for this hotel for one night. I cannot tell you how bad it was. I wish I had looked at the room first, then gone back and left. The hotel is under renovation which it needed badly. The third floor was closed. I stayed on the second. The hallways had torn sheetrock as someone had pulled away the baseboards in preparation for demolition. The hallways were filthy with sheetrock dust covering the floor from the upstairs work. The room was worse! There were stains on the carpet which at first, I thought was dirt. Upon looking further, the stains were BLOOD. It looked light someone cut their foot and then walked around the room leaving huge splotches. It was disgusting. Someone had tried cleaning the living room carpet and just left the bedroom stains there.|The pool was dirty with leaves left inside. I don't suggest anyone use it.|At least, the staff was good. From check-in to breakfast, I was happy. The breakfast guy was wonderful keeping everything clean and tidy. I wish I had gotten his name. |All-in-all, I suggest that anyone thinking about staying there wait until all the renovation is done. Then, perhaps, it will be up to normal Homewood Suites stand.

My family and I visited the Washington DC area during for Fourth of July week. We had a great time at this Homewood location. It is close to everything we wanted to do in DC and close to the places we wanted to eat. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our rooms met our standards. Rooms were spacious and clean. Miss Sharon went above and beyond the call of duty for us. When we come back to DC, we would definitely be staying here again.

Great service, friendly and accomadating staff. Fully stocked and clean rooms. Free breakfast was a great bonus. Will definitely be back to stay.

The hotel was nice. The breakfast was the same every morning, but it tasted good. The staff was mostly courteous. I would stay there again.
