Homewood Suites Birmingham Downtown Near UAB - Extended stay hotel in Birmingham - 1016 20th St S, USA

I had an outstanding experience at this hotel, largely thanks to the exceptional staff at the reception. They were not just helpful but went above and beyond to assist me. I encountered difficulties with the car rental company and had to wait for the roadside assistance for 2-3hours, which unfortunately never arrived. However, the hotel staff took incredible care of me, providing assistance and, in the end, even managing to get the car running again. This was more than just a service; it was a beautiful human experience. I am truly grateful for the care and support I received. Despite the challenging situation, the hotel staff turned it into a positive and memorable experience. Thank you so much; I will never forget this gesture of kindness! The hotel was everything I expected – a nice, spacious room, convenient hotel parking, and a comfortable bed - the suite provided everything necessary for a restful night.

Listen! This hotel is absolutely wonderful! The staff is superb as well! Katelyn set the tone before my family and I checked in. She is amazing! Reginald was an absolute pleasure! He is full of kindness and has such a wonderful personality. Dianne was helpful too! Tracey at checkout just topped the cake! I will certainly stay here anytime I need accommodations in Birmingham! Hands down, they are one of the best! Also, the rooms were clean, the lobby is gorgeous. Breakfast was amazing! And there are several restaurants in the area that are within walking distance. First time staying here, and I must say that it was an EXCELLENT experience from check-in to check-out! Every single employee we spoke with was kind, respectful, and very friendly! And Ayanna (front desk) was Top Notch.. very knowledgeable, ready to offer assistance, and oh SO sweet! The room was exceptional, the amenities were fabulous, and the location was great! This is definitely a hotel with high standards and it shows !

Second time staying at this hotel. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is great. The rooms are spacious and we love the kitchenette. Best part is they are close to many restaurants. They are dog friendly and the front desk staff spoil our pup with treats.

We have stayed here numerous times when we're in town for my spouse's UAB appts. It's comfortable and has nice decor. The staff is great especially Miss Tracy at the front desk & Shamika in the kitchen. They've been there on all our trips with big smiles and always go out of their way to make us comfortable!

Clean and spacious rooms and an excellent complimentary breakfast in a great location! While it was a little noisy for part of the weekend, given that it is downtown, that is to be expected. The staff were friendly and welcoming; we'll definitely be staying there again!

Sorry for the late review I stayed at this location for about a week. I had an appointment at uab so this was extremely convenient for me after my surgery The front desk receptionist Ms. Sade was extremely helpful while I stayed at the location she made my wife and I feel like we was at home she went out her to make us feel comfortable. My wife and I hope to see her smiling face again when We revisit The location.

We stayed during the holidays, and it was great! Clean, comfortable, spacious room. The lobby was beautifully decorated. Staff were helpful and kind. Great location. We’ll be back on our next visit!
