We stayed here for ten days because we wanted to explore Denver & the Rockies on a budget. The service is okay. They have laundry service and it was nice to be able to scan a QR code to wash clothes. *SAFETY - Cops were at this hotel almost everyday. Someone got arrested on the balcony we were staying at. Lots of homeless people and people on drugs roaming the streets. I HIGHLY recommend bringing a weapon or some sort of tool for self defense. Lock you cars and secure your belongs. Don’t stay at this hotel by yourself. *Make sure to bring your own laundry detergent. *The rooms do come with a refrigerator, microwave & a very small oven top. *It smelt weird in the hotel so we just got some febreeze which did the job. * The walls are not sound proof. You can hear everything that is going on outside. It was okay because we were on a budget. This is my honest review.

The first thing when I entered the room was there was blood on the bed covers. Housekeeping fixed immediately but still. Room not as clean as it should be. The night desk person told me a different total than what I was charged. Also the 100 dollar deposit was never refunded. So they over charged by 100 dollars. Staff working different shifts have different answers to the same questions. I would just stay away.

Positive: Clean rooms. Secure entry. Well lighted. Convenient location. Good Price. Negative: It would be nice to have overnight or 24 hour front desk service. An extra toilet paper in room if possible.

Do not take your family here. Says non smoking yet it reeks of smoke. Smelled like it was funnelling into our room. Obvious people smoke in the room when there's a cigarette burn on the bed and the smoke detector is covered with a note saying "don't tamper with smoke detector". Says absolutely no pets and yet I watched two large dogs walk into a room???? Shower floors were dirty and the room was not deep cleaned, only barely wiped down. Do NOT take your kids here. I am frustrated at the price hotels as nasty as this cost today. How are we supposed to afford vacations if this is what a "budget" hotel is??? Poor advertising conned an out of town visitor. Personally, I want a refund.

My Honest and fair review. #1. Check Out is 11 AM Sharp, if you don't they will come Knock Hard and charge you a late fee. #2. Lot's of Strange Characters hanging around.#3. S.P. like to make loud Noises late at night, i.e. Up to 2:45 AM. #4. Things were Broken and Dirty in the room, i.e. Cigarette burns in the sheets. Over all it was $68 a night, I knew what I was in for, but I won't bring my girl here. My issue of getting charged for getting out of the room at 11:04 was resolved by a Red Roof person named Shalimar Narvaez because I made a long phone call and asked to please speak to a Supervisor. It was refunded promptly, although the front desk lady was rude about it when I spoke to her. The place is dysfunctional but if I needed a cheap place to stay close to Denver I would stay there again maybe with my own sheets.

They have hired armed security, There are new employees. I have to say the rooms were clean. The staff was helpful. The security personnel were professional and did their jobs well. From being the "Carter's" on New Jack City a few years ago to actually being a decent place to stay. Someone stepped up their game with this motel and turned it around for the better. I would stay here again. The rooms are clean and everyone has a kitchen. Bums are non-existent, no derelict cars, the key cards and doors work and people cannot get on the property unless they are staying there. I give whoever made this decision in the corporate office a huge thumbs up. Your plan worked. Turned this place around big time.

I got in late from the airport and needed a quick place for my boyfriend and I to stay for the evening. Upon arrival, the girl at the front desk told me that she had 3 reservations for me. I told her that was a mistake, we only needed one reservation. While I was trying to book the reservation directly through the website, the website kept crashing. I received no confirmation of booking at that time. I then booked on Expedia and the reservation went through and I received confirmation for that. The night girl said I needed to speak to the manager in the morning to get it refunded. When I went to speak with the manager, Yessica, in the morning- I explained the situation and she looked at me and said “there is nothing I can do for you.” She said, “I can’t refund you, you should have used the rooms.” I explained it was the websites error not mine. She offered no help and was extremely rude. I asked if there was someone in upper management I could speak to or if she had a phone number for customer service, and she said “nope, nothing.” She offered zero help and it was extremely frustrating to be treated that way when I was just asking for help to get their mistake fixed. I work in customer service and would never think of treating someone that way. I was charged $534 in total between the deposits and 3 room charges. The bathroom in our room was still dirty upon arrival and my boyfriend and I both woke up with bug bites on our ankles. Not a great experience all around. I really am hoping they do the right thing and are able to refund me for the rooms we did not book.

Positive: I have stayed at other Home Town Studios in Colorado and this location has more pride in their jobs and the property. They paint where it's needed and keep the property clean. Negative: The hotel needs some updates, but you get a lot for your money.
